As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Lune who speaks up first this time.

"Good morning, good morning. You've done well to purge the corruption in the previous gateway - allow us to assist with the finishing touches. For the time being, it would appear as though we've been able to locate another. I would not grow complacent, but I also wonder if you all might enjoy the surprise."

When Lune finishes, Sol chimes in from their place at Lune's side.

"Maybe we can have another week like the last. It'd be nice, wouldn't it? Good luck out there."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will begin to see odd mirages and hear voices calling for them. Even though they might not realize it, these phantoms that will be haunting them will be their partner's most important person, calling for them to come home. Partners will only be able to see each other's illusions if they make physical contact.

No. Not as far as I'm aware, though it's possible I keep missing them.

Well, that's... sad, actually. I guess you wouldn't have a lot to celebrate, though.

Is this a special thing? Or fairly normal?

No, it's a special thing. Usually it happens on some kind of holiday or other celebration. You do have holidays, right?

What is a holiday?

...God, that's sad.

[She pauses to decide how to explain this.]

It's like, you take a day out of each year and make it special, to celebrate something big. It could be the birthday of someone important, or to honor a group of people or something historical that happened. People get the day off work, people throw parties - stuff like that.

He's never looked so confused in his life. He's never taken a day off of work in his entire working life.]

And that's normal for you? Having holidays?

Yeah. There's... Let's see. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, New Years, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day... Halloween, but nobody really gets the day off for that.

[She tilts her head.]

Nine? Why are there so many of them?

Because all of them are pretty important...?

They really don't celebrate anything where you're from?

We don't. Is it that strange?

I mean - yeah.

I get them accustomed to life as a Prinny. The rules they need to follow as well as the skills they need to succeed in their new role.

What's a Prinny? And what does the whole sinful thing have to do with it?

A sinful human soul is stitched into a prinny, and until they pay off their sins they're stuck working as a prinny.

[He'll pull a little prinny plush out of his pocket to show it to Emma.]

They're usually about three feet high.

...Ignoring how bizarre that is - what happens to them after?

[He tucks it back into his jacket.]

Once they've paid off their sins they get reincarnated as humans with blank slates.

How does your metric for judgment work?
