As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Lune who speaks up first this time.

"Good morning, good morning. You've done well to purge the corruption in the previous gateway - allow us to assist with the finishing touches. For the time being, it would appear as though we've been able to locate another. I would not grow complacent, but I also wonder if you all might enjoy the surprise."

When Lune finishes, Sol chimes in from their place at Lune's side.

"Maybe we can have another week like the last. It'd be nice, wouldn't it? Good luck out there."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will begin to see odd mirages and hear voices calling for them. Even though they might not realize it, these phantoms that will be haunting them will be their partner's most important person, calling for them to come home. Partners will only be able to see each other's illusions if they make physical contact.

[ Lea's the first to disembark the sheep, in all his glory. He's got a giant bruise on his jaw and half his face and he is wearing a headless, and extremely torn and burnt version of this mascot outfit, sans the head. There's blood and four holes in the tummy section, but it's fine.

Also, he has a top hat. For some reason. ]

[ Miki's next, and she's the one sat on the horse from some reason?? What happened here. She's wearing an outfit that seems surprisingly unscathed, and she seems to be lacking the plethora of injuries that Lea has.

She just looks.

So tired. ]

[ But not tired enough to be impolite. ]

[After Miki, there's Val dressed in a mermaid costume and in the wagon. He's bandaged just about everywhere skin should be showing.

Somehow the costume is fine.

He taps the sheep's shoulder.]

[ Minato comes out last, his nose bandaged and face kind of bruised everywhere but like... everything else is covered with long sleeves and pants so nobody can see and yell at him. He's wearing an eye-searingly red but dapper suit, his cat ear headband is adorned with a lacy lolita one so he looks extra cute, and he has two bowls of ramen balanced on his lap and a third he's currently holding and is halfway through eating, so his mouth is full and he can't say thank you to the sheep carrying them.

Minato had a wonderful time. ]
