As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Lune who speaks up first this time.

"Good morning, good morning. You've done well to purge the corruption in the previous gateway - allow us to assist with the finishing touches. For the time being, it would appear as though we've been able to locate another. I would not grow complacent, but I also wonder if you all might enjoy the surprise."

When Lune finishes, Sol chimes in from their place at Lune's side.

"Maybe we can have another week like the last. It'd be nice, wouldn't it? Good luck out there."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will begin to see odd mirages and hear voices calling for them. Even though they might not realize it, these phantoms that will be haunting them will be their partner's most important person, calling for them to come home. Partners will only be able to see each other's illusions if they make physical contact.

[ He sort of felt like he didn't need to explain this, but here we go anyways ]

Because there's lots of things you need two hands for. So even if I'm ambidextrous, just having one is inconvenient.

[ a pause and then he'll add... ]

What was the bet even about?

[ There's another "uh" from Minato as he thinks over whether or not he wants to say. It was something between him and Kara, and he doesn't want Feral to get caught up in it, and... Minato really should just man up and accept the punishment. ]

It was a cooking thing... It's alright. Loosing a hand isn't that big a deal. I can handle being inconvenienced.

[papawolf]

[ minato no. he cross his arms again as he shakes his head. ]

Denied.

[ And now he has to think about it... ]

Leave him a hand print.

Evidence that I've been in here? Why?

[ That's the opposite of what he wants?? Feral???? ]

He would not get the joke, and then he would kill me for sure...

Don't let him take a hand

[ You're already all broken enough Minato. ]

You need two hands to hold the cat.

I'll see if I can negotiate. But if not, I think I can manage. It'll be like this--

[ He walks over to the cat, which had followed them to the kitchen lured by the prospect of food, and scoops it up with one arm to hold at his side like a football. The cat scratches his side and Minato lets it go. ]

[ OH MY GOD ]

No. Tell him it's not allowed.

[compendiem]

...I can try telling him, but I can't guarantee success.

[ And he's going to assume he gets one chance at negotiation before Kara chops off his hand. ]
