week five: mingle
Week Five

As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.
Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.
As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Lune who speaks up first this time.
"Good morning, good morning. You've done well to purge the corruption in the previous gateway - allow us to assist with the finishing touches. For the time being, it would appear as though we've been able to locate another. I would not grow complacent, but I also wonder if you all might enjoy the surprise."
When Lune finishes, Sol chimes in from their place at Lune's side.
"Maybe we can have another week like the last. It'd be nice, wouldn't it? Good luck out there."
The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.
In addition, as the week goes on, partners will begin to see odd mirages and hear voices calling for them. Even though they might not realize it, these phantoms that will be haunting them will be their partner's most important person, calling for them to come home. Partners will only be able to see each other's illusions if they make physical contact.

Welcome to your week five mingle! As a reminder, murder proposals are open. We will also be having another CYOA this week! Sign ups are here and will close on Tuesday at 8 AM PST.
In addition, ensure that all of your week four private conversations were reported on the page. If you'll be taking anything from locations, please report that as well.

She narrows her eyes at him. ]
... If this ends up being a joke, you have to take responsibility.
no subject
[ Whatever that means. It probably means he promises to stand there and take it while Four splashes a cup of coffee on his face, idk ]
no subject
Do you even know what that means?
no subject
no subject
That's right, but I also meant specifically, in this case.
[ She shakes her head. ]
At least make the coffee taste better.
no subject
I like the taste how it is... But others put stuff like cream and sugar and milk into their coffee. Do you like sweet drinks, Four?
no subject
[ That is to say, her favorite food is sweets, but she will stick to her weird health diet. ]
no subject
[ I mean. You won't be able to sleep at night unless you have such a high tolerance as he does, but. It's a good evening. ]
no subject
She tilts her head from side to side, as if she's weighing whether one is too much or not. ]
In terms of treating myself with sweets, once a day is too much. Good company is ideal everyday, however.
no subject
[ Not Minato, for obvious reasons, and he thinks if they just gather for coffee once a week, that would make him more than happy enough. ]
no subject
Hm... Emma?
[ A pause. ]
Who's making this curry bread?
no subject
Emma being good company makes sense, though that makes him pause and continue pausing until Four asks her second question and Minato finds himself hesitating all the longer. ]
...I can make good curry bread. I have a real recipe and everything. In a book.
[ Milla liked it, and he's not making things up this time, it should be fine, maybe ]
no subject
She notices that hesitation but is merciful enough to not question it. ]
Will you follow the recipe to the word?
[ She does not trust that it will be fine if he doesn't. ]
no subject
Yes. Absolutely.
[ Does she trust it'll be fine if he does? ]
no subject
I feel as if I should watch.
[ Supervise, she means.
So, no. ]
no subject
It's kinda boring, but I don't mind showing you. I could teach you how to make it, too.
[ watching = curiosity, not supervision ]
no subject
She opens her mouth and shuts it. Is silent for a second. ]
... I'll observe your method.
[ And probably try to correct, subtly or not so subtly. ]
no subject
[ He can use the correction... Following recipes is easy and he can do it, but it's so tempting thinking he can do it better and just make things up and see how it goes. It's probably a good idea that Four watches him, especially if they're inviting Emma. Emma's too smart to accept any food Minato makes if it was done without supervision. ]
