week seven: mingle

Week Seven
13 in Competition

As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"Morning. As usual, you guys were a big help in purging the darkness that lingered in the gateway from last week. We'll take it from here." There's a pause. "...we've got a new one for you, but there's something really weird about it. It's even larger than the last, so be careful when you're out there."

When Sol finishes, Lune picks up where they left off.

"Would it be odd to say that I believe you are all doing well? Your growth has been admirable.... Have heart as you continue to move forward."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, everyone will find that somewhere on their person, a small word is printed displaying their most prominent trait. Though they may not agree, or even realize it, this is a trait that most strongly defines them and over the week this trait will slowly become amplified.

Welcome to your week seven mingle! As a reminder, murder proposals are open. We will also have a mini-event this week on Tuesday at 12pm PST. Of note, this mini-event will be different, so please stay tuned for more info!

In addition, ensure that all of your week six private conversations were reported on the page. If you'll be taking anything from locations, please report that as well.

I actually don't know, that's why I was asking.

[There are a few reactions that she'd find understandable.]

Also, holler if you see anything.

[ a grunt of acknowledgement. ]

That fool animal turned me into dust on a whim, and now I have to keep living with her. Half of them already forgave her. Including...

[ ... Minato. It hurts. They haven't brought this up with him. They should, but they're scared. ]

... Whatever. I shouldn't be surprised.

I'm guessing avoiding her isn't working out that well...?

[As for the second part - she grimaces. She'd hate that, too.]

You'd think they could at least stay mad for this long.

I told her to stay away from me... But it's hard to avoid being in the same area.

[ for reasons. ]

... Were people mad at all?

I'm pretty pissed, at the very least. I can't imagine I'm the only one.

[She's giving them a sympathetic look.]

... I didn't think anyone would care.

[ other than Shess, anyway... .]

I think anybody with any sense of morality would be upset about someone who murdered an innocent person because she felt like it. Have people over there really not been...?
