Week Seven

As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"Morning. As usual, you guys were a big help in purging the darkness that lingered in the gateway from last week. We'll take it from here." There's a pause. "...we've got a new one for you, but there's something really weird about it. It's even larger than the last, so be careful when you're out there."

When Sol finishes, Lune picks up where they left off.

"Would it be odd to say that I believe you are all doing well? Your growth has been admirable.... Have heart as you continue to move forward."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, everyone will find that somewhere on their person, a small word is printed displaying their most prominent trait. Though they may not agree, or even realize it, this is a trait that most strongly defines them and over the week this trait will slowly become amplified.

They're very fragile. This must be a frightening experience for them.

[ this is why tsuru and shess are the only ones on the chart who are nice to babies apparently ]

They have a very limited way of expressing that fear as well.

But they should be fine once we reunite them with their parent.

[ it gets a nice head pat. ]

Let's look around for any other ones. Hopefully we won't run into another one of those...

[ he glances in the direction tankmon is ]

Hopefully... how well can you run holding onto it, if that happens?

I can handle it.

[ he glances at the baby and his expression softens ]

Right, little helper?

[nonbelligerent]

So it's your helper now?

[preowned]

It's a part of the team now, isn't it?

[nonbelligerent]

Ha, I suppose it is. We're here to find its siblings, after all.

Maybe they'll be more inclined to come to us if they see a familiar face...

[ he's sure it'll be less scary than being approached by two strangers ]

[nonbelligerent]

That's an idea. Do your best to get along with this one, then.

We'll become best friends very quickly.

[ but it's time to keep an eye out for any other babs ]

Careful, Bob-chan might get jealous.

We need to keep this a secret from him then.

I suppose we need to teach everyone that the young aren't garbage.

[ he covers his baby's ears before asking, ]

It's not damaged, is it?

[he looks it over.]

It doesn't seem like it. Hopefully, it'll hatch safely.

[ he uncovers its ears. ]

Great. You're going to be a sibling, little one.

[ he's just assuming they're related it's fine ]

Do you have siblings, Tsurumaru? Or however that works for swords...

I don't. There are brothers though.

[ please don't ask me how it works i don't fucking know the rules are confusing ]

A lot of the smaller swords are very similar to children though, so it gives you the same feeling.
