Week Seven

As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.
Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.
As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.
"Morning. As usual, you guys were a big help in purging the darkness that lingered in the gateway from last week. We'll take it from here." There's a pause. "...we've got a new one for you, but there's something really weird about it. It's even larger than the last, so be careful when you're out there."
When Sol finishes, Lune picks up where they left off.
"Would it be odd to say that I believe you are all doing well? Your growth has been admirable.... Have heart as you continue to move forward."
The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.
In addition, as the week goes on, everyone will find that somewhere on their person, a small word is printed displaying their most prominent trait. Though they may not agree, or even realize it, this is a trait that most strongly defines them and over the week this trait will slowly become amplified.

Welcome to your week seven mingle! As a reminder, murder proposals are open. We will also have a mini-event this week on Tuesday at 12pm PST. Of note, this mini-event will be different, so please stay tuned for more info!
In addition, ensure that all of your week six private conversations were reported on the page. If you'll be taking anything from locations, please report that as well.

A THING;
The shatter of ceramic rings through the dark, hurried footsteps running as the ground remains unsteady. A figure darts ahead, another in hot pursuit as a door slams behind them. Bright lights flash, and a deafening explosion ends in the splintering of wood.
The splintering continues as the view changes to that of thick, looming trees. A spear soars through the air at an unseen target as the earth beneath rumbles uneasily. Tree branches snap and fall to the ground, the space growing tighter and darker before a splatter of blood erupts across the surface.
The view of blood changes to that of a flame, the dust from piles of rubble wafting up into the air as the clanging of metal on metal can be heard. The sounds grow in volume and speed, louder and faster with flurried movements until--
--Abruptly, everyone awakens. Though the darkness continues to loom, they are all compelled to make their way to the main meeting hall. Inside, the lanterns are lit with enough of a glow to see a scroll unfurled and draped over four glass boxes. Though the bodies may not be recognizable in the light, the scroll provides an answer.
Squall Leonhart, Kaoru Hitachiin, Grim Eyes, and Milla Maxwell are dead.
Welcome to your seventh death announcement! As per game schedule, there will be no investigation for clues at this time and even if characters go to explore on their own, it seems that everything has been reverted to perfect condition.
As sunset on Friday approaches, the light will return to the village. With the vague outline of the sun high in the sky, this light will shine brightly for a full twenty-four hours.
Try to sleep through it while you can. Tomorrow's a big day, after all.

[Despite himself, his voice is breaking.]
We'll find whoever did this. All of this.
