As the sun rises on Saturday morning, all will be quiet and still in the village. Not a single soul stirs as the sun and the moon linger in the sky, visible should anyone look.

A shimmer of stars spark through the air as a swirl of darkness lifts from the village. Everything has returned to as it once was, all 16 houses in-tact and all buildings precisely as they were before. Beams of light follow, soaring through the air and delivering every single participant back to this plane of existence.

As participants gather their wits and take in their surroundings, they'll find that a celebratory banquet has been prepared for them not unlike the one that originally greeted them. Decorations hang from the rafters and windows as lively music plays and can be heard in every part of the village. Some may even be able to trace the source to a gathering of musical instruments, and even...a turntable? Strange. All manner of fruits and vegetables appear to be perfect for harvest, and a variety of freshly cooked dishes from across many worlds can be found on display at the tables in the center. If you don't see your favorite dish? All of the ingredients can be found, along with amenities to make it yourself.

Surrounding the center of the village, several gateways open one by one, a soft gold glow emitting from them. No dangers linger in these parts, but adventure awaits those who wish to find it. Likewise, silver gateways open alongside these and serve as portals that allow participants to return to their homeworlds whenever they're ready.

Your Oracle Bells are in working condition, all messages saved from your time here and featuring a new network feature. Even as you leave this world, you're only 140 characters away from the friends you've come to cherish. Look around at those who join you today. Look hard enough, and you may even find some familiar faces you haven't seen for a very, very long time.

Though your time in this village draws to a close, the universe has settled and found a path to follow. You will always have a place here should you wish to return, and even when you depart for your next destination, your strength and power will follow you.

Your gratitude will be remembered, participants. Congratulations.



Happy endgame, friends! Thank you guys for a fun nine weeks! Here's a breakdown of what's happening in this post.

-All participants have been revived.
-All locations from the game have been opened, including the locations of the CYOAs.
-All characters' homeworlds can be visited.
-Castmates will be able to come through these world portals and play with the game's cast! So feel free to tag each other, etc.
-The Oracle Bells now have a universal network! We have a post over in the free-for-all meme comm so please just spam each other to your heart's content.
-All elemental powers will remain with characters when they leave! This includes their special skills.
-And yes, all injuries are healed and all characters will remember their time here.

[Hisoka is... waiting??? by the portals. Which is to say, he's there, but he's turned around like he's wasting time until someone specific appears. He's leaned nearby, legs crossed at the ankles, and hands shuffling a deck of playing cards idly.]

Hisoka throws a card at him.]

which is to say, bb ludger wanders by to stare at hisoka. ]

[He claps his hands together over the cards, and then slowly parts them. They're gone! Surprise. He crouches down to be on Ludger's level, and then beckons with a finger.]

[ did he just pronounce a diamond shape wtf i mean

ludger eyes him, but slowly scootches forward. ludger no- ]

I don't think anyone would make a spyrix that makes cards vanish.

[ bc that's what magic is, right? ]

[look, i can't fathom why togashi would make him have shitty suits in his speech bubbles]

Oh, I don't need anything else. It's all in the fingers...

[Slowly, he leans to the left and peers around Ludger. Hm. And then he leans to the right to do the same. Almost as if he's searching for something. When he comes back to the middle, he holds his chin and hums, looking up.]

Ah. [His hand swoops up toward Ludger's face. Scary! But he just passes it by Ludger's ear and brings it back down. His hand is full of a deck of cards, and he fans them out.] Ja-jyan.

[ with the remarkable fearlessness children seem to have, ludger doesn't even twitch as hisoka's hand passes by his face. instead, he seems fascinated by the ~magical~ cards, judging by the sounds of awe he makes. ]

Wooooooooow...! Were those behind my ear?

[ easily entertained? yes. yes he is. ]

[Of all the fucking people to see as soon as he walks through, of course it's Hisoka. Killua stops in his tracks, narrows his eyes, and visibly contemplates walking right back through the portal.

Sighs. Decides against it, because as much as he's willing to leave Hisoka here, he can't leave without cleaning up after his best friend. Again.]

If you're here, where's Gon?

[No, you don't even get a "hello".]

[Killua gets an amused, knowing smile. And that's it for a bit.]

Come to collect me? The fun's all over, I'm afraid.

[Killua gets another glance.] He's around. Are you good at hide-and-seek? [At least it's Killua and... not... Illumi...]

[He scoffs, shoving his hands into his pockets as he trades that smile for a scowl.] It wasn't my idea. I would've just left you here if I had a choice.

[And Killua can't even pretend he has a choice with Gon on a good day.]

I'm not sticking around for any games, if that's why you're asking.

I'm all gamed out. [Amazing. Let him rest, please.] You have to find Gon, though, right?

Now... [He only pauses a moment in shuffling to tap his chin with a nail.] If I were Gon, where would I be...?

You? Gamed out? [Will wonders never cease. Despite Hisoka's shocking admission, Killua still doesn't let himself relax. It's Hisoka. He has a right to continue being suspicious of him.

He will sigh, exasperated, though.]

He's probably off making more friends. Like he usually does.

[He's been here all of ten seconds and he's already tired. Free him.]

[ Four eyes him suspiciously.

But she's going to try to be civil(?) and disappoint him. ]

Why aren't you leaving?

[He gives her a momentary glance.]

I'm waiting for someone. [A pause.] Several someones really.

[forefall]

[ That sounds fake? ]

Who would those someones be?

Shirasu and Minato. I'm waiting to see if they've changed their minds. [His eyes lift to her.] They were planning to come with me.

It doesn't seem like you to be so passive.

[ like, hisoka waiting by the portals is different from him deliberately putting himself in the way of everyone's general space.

[He can wait sometimes. For certain things. Like a single ninja and his ninja clan and fighting Chrollo.]

I'm storing all of my energy so I can destroy the universe when the rest of you leave.

[He says it with such a straight-face and serious tone, but after a moment, his eyes flick up, and he smiles wolfishly.]

I'm waiting on someone.

And after all of the effort that went into preserving the universe too.

[ Him saying it with such a straight face seems almost like the giveaway, here... ]

Someone who doesn't intend to go back to where they came from, you mean?

[It's fine. He's use to being bullied. :pensive:]

They may. I'm only waiting to see if they've changed their minds. Do you want to join them? I know someone you would get along with quite well.

[His look at Julius is appraising.]

I wonder what your Nen would be, if you tried to develop it. Maybe you would be a Conjurer, too. Hmm. No. A Manipulator, I think.

anyway. it takes some time for shirasu to show up, in part because he's making hisoka wait yet again-- but in part because he really does have other business to take care of. speaking with his brother about the new plan, for one.

when he finally appears, he seems to be alone, though hisoka shouldn't have a hard time telling there's someone else nearby; staying out of sight, but not bothering to fully conceal their presence. shirasu's always been the one of them who deals with people, after all.]

Ah, you're still here. I wondered if you might eventually grow bored of waiting...

[he's not sorry.]

[If Hisoka notices anyone else, he doesn't make any notice of it. Instead, Shirasu gets a smile curved back so far on the edges his eyes thin. The cards all slide together into a single deck in his hands.]

I just thought you were playing hide-and-seek with me is all.

[it's easy enough to dismiss that-- hisoka has been doing the pursuing, after all.]

I had other business to conclude, first. It took a bit longer than expected, though I didn't expect you'd have anything better to do in the meantime.

I was starting to get a little bored. If you didn't hurry, I would have had to come find you.

[And then get into all of Shirasu's business. That would have been fun.]

Did you change your mind? It seems Minato has decided to go home. [He taps the side of his index finger's nail against his chin, looking amused.] Instead, he invited me to go fight someone with him later.
