As the sun rises on Saturday morning, all will be quiet and still in the village. Not a single soul stirs as the sun and the moon linger in the sky, visible should anyone look.

A shimmer of stars spark through the air as a swirl of darkness lifts from the village. Everything has returned to as it once was, all 16 houses in-tact and all buildings precisely as they were before. Beams of light follow, soaring through the air and delivering every single participant back to this plane of existence.

As participants gather their wits and take in their surroundings, they'll find that a celebratory banquet has been prepared for them not unlike the one that originally greeted them. Decorations hang from the rafters and windows as lively music plays and can be heard in every part of the village. Some may even be able to trace the source to a gathering of musical instruments, and even...a turntable? Strange. All manner of fruits and vegetables appear to be perfect for harvest, and a variety of freshly cooked dishes from across many worlds can be found on display at the tables in the center. If you don't see your favorite dish? All of the ingredients can be found, along with amenities to make it yourself.

Surrounding the center of the village, several gateways open one by one, a soft gold glow emitting from them. No dangers linger in these parts, but adventure awaits those who wish to find it. Likewise, silver gateways open alongside these and serve as portals that allow participants to return to their homeworlds whenever they're ready.

Your Oracle Bells are in working condition, all messages saved from your time here and featuring a new network feature. Even as you leave this world, you're only 140 characters away from the friends you've come to cherish. Look around at those who join you today. Look hard enough, and you may even find some familiar faces you haven't seen for a very, very long time.

Though your time in this village draws to a close, the universe has settled and found a path to follow. You will always have a place here should you wish to return, and even when you depart for your next destination, your strength and power will follow you.

Your gratitude will be remembered, participants. Congratulations.



Happy endgame, friends! Thank you guys for a fun nine weeks! Here's a breakdown of what's happening in this post.

-All participants have been revived.
-All locations from the game have been opened, including the locations of the CYOAs.
-All characters' homeworlds can be visited.
-Castmates will be able to come through these world portals and play with the game's cast! So feel free to tag each other, etc.
-The Oracle Bells now have a universal network! We have a post over in the free-for-all meme comm so please just spam each other to your heart's content.
-All elemental powers will remain with characters when they leave! This includes their special skills.
-And yes, all injuries are healed and all characters will remember their time here.

a.) [It's the last day, and Roxas is nowhere to be found in the main part of the village. Regardless of where anyone looks, they'll have to search for some time before they'll find him inside the portal to Twilight Town, tucked away in a space behind a chainlink fence. On the couch inside the Usual Spot, Roxas is sitting with Wednesday in his lap and a book of fairy tales in his hand.

He should maybe go see people, but...there are several conflicting feelings here. Maybe he'll try in a bit. He knows that the most important people will be able to find him no matter what.]

b.) [On the other hand, later Roxas will be found near the cluster of gateways, watching people come through and leave. If he spots someone lingering, he offers a small smile.]

...so where to next?

c.) [Roxas's own gateway is probably different than one would think. Rather than stepping into Twilight Town, the gateway to his own home is...an island. It's not really home, but it's the last place and point in time he really remembers. It's a sandy beach with crystal blue water, a light breeze, and coconut trees scattered around. On a separate section of the island connected by a bridge sits a large tree with unusual, star-shaped fruits hanging from its branches. The play island is quiet as ever, but Roxas can be found walking along the shore.]

It's been a while. But welcome to Destiny Islands, I guess.

Back home. There are promises with my comrades I'm obligated to keep.

And you? Are you ready to leave this place?

I don't know if ready is the word I'd use. There's still a lot left to do back home, but it's going to take more time than I thought.

What is it that you're going back to?

Home. Most things are fine, but we still have something important to take care of. Together, we should be able to succeed, and we have an idea of where to start looking now.

Somewhere, I'm sure.

[just- not home. he decided not to try to change it, after everything, but they'll all need somewhere to go.]

I take it you're returning to finish things?

[doublebladed]

[There's a nod, stance relaxed as he eyes Shirasu curiously.]

I have to find Sora. And the others have to go back and live through the timeline to sync up with me, and then we'll go together. [There's a nod.] But after these last nine weeks, I think I have a direction to follow.

Have you thought of where that somewhere is?

[wagashis]

I have. I'm simply taking my time before I leave.

[by which i mean he is both making hisoka wait on purpose and also i can't tag anna until dana comes to harm me with tenka]

But it sounds like we've both gotten what we wanted out of all of this, then.

[doublebladed]

Mostly. [Hisoka...but as long as Shirasu's happy, then...sure. There's a short grin following that though.] Everyone deserves to get something out of this. So I'm glad to hear it worked out. Maybe they were right to pick Shess as the last person left?

[He knows Shirasu's feelings on that, at least.]

[ Wednesday will now be tackled by a cat running as fast as her three legs can carry her. roxi probably scratched roxas on the way up. sorry.

that's fine though because axel is holding out some ice cream for him ]

[There's an indignant meow from Wednesday but he doesn't seem to mind, playfully batting at Roxi. Roxas, on the other hand, startles pretty easily when he's used as a climbing post and he looks up to where Axel is.

There's ice cream...and he grins a little.]

...hey. [He'll take that, and he'll move the cats and his own body over to give Axel room to sit down.]

[leaberator]

[ axel plops down with a sigh, dramatically stretching out ]

Ah, man. Let's do us all a favor an' never do something like that again, alright? I'm beat.

[doublebladed]

[That's fine. The kittens are rolling around and playing, and Roxas is slowly and subtly shifting to tip over into Axel's side a bit. Hello. He'll take a bite of his ice cream before he responds.]

Tell me about it. I think we're all ready for a break now.

[leaberator]

[ he notices the tip into his side but doesn't mention it, leaning a bit himself. he ruffles roxas's hair to make it less cute!!!! ]

You most of all, right? You've been working your butt off this whole time. I think we can afford a collective nap on the beach.

[doublebladed]

[SWATTING!!! It means that Roxas is mostly back to his old self, at least, because there's an indignant noise as his hand moves to push Axel's away.]

A nap...would be good. [There's a heavy sigh because yeah, he's incredibly tired still even if he's up and still doing his best.] But only a short one. There's still stuff we've gotta do when we get back.

[Like find Sora. And, you know, pick out a dog.]

[leaberator]

[ he lets himself be pushed away with a laugh, but then the rest of this is just. no he is also heavy sighing now ]

Ugh, don't remind me. That's a future me problem if I've ever heard one. Right now, all I wanna do is a whole lotta nothing.

[ it is literally a future him problem. time.... shenanigans ]

[Just a Look because yeah, he's well aware of the time shenanigans. Thank you but no thank you.]

Time's still stopped here. We don't have to leave right away. Nothing else is changing out there, so we can just stay here for a little longer. [It's obvious from the way he says it that he doesn't just mean them, but the others, too.]

Roxas, are you advocating we play hooky for a little bit longer? For shame.

[ he says, stretching himself out ]

[He just elbows him in the ribs lightly.] Ha. Ha. I don't see anybody who's gonna tell us no, do you?

Like you've ever listened to anyone telling you no.

[ he says. with no irony ]

Not the point. [Look, sometimes you just have to ignore everyone around you to get stuff done.] The universe is quiet now. I think it's finally at peace and won't try that again anytime soon.
