As the sun rises on Saturday morning, all will be quiet and still in the village. Not a single soul stirs as the sun and the moon linger in the sky, visible should anyone look.

A shimmer of stars spark through the air as a swirl of darkness lifts from the village. Everything has returned to as it once was, all 16 houses in-tact and all buildings precisely as they were before. Beams of light follow, soaring through the air and delivering every single participant back to this plane of existence.

As participants gather their wits and take in their surroundings, they'll find that a celebratory banquet has been prepared for them not unlike the one that originally greeted them. Decorations hang from the rafters and windows as lively music plays and can be heard in every part of the village. Some may even be able to trace the source to a gathering of musical instruments, and even...a turntable? Strange. All manner of fruits and vegetables appear to be perfect for harvest, and a variety of freshly cooked dishes from across many worlds can be found on display at the tables in the center. If you don't see your favorite dish? All of the ingredients can be found, along with amenities to make it yourself.

Surrounding the center of the village, several gateways open one by one, a soft gold glow emitting from them. No dangers linger in these parts, but adventure awaits those who wish to find it. Likewise, silver gateways open alongside these and serve as portals that allow participants to return to their homeworlds whenever they're ready.

Your Oracle Bells are in working condition, all messages saved from your time here and featuring a new network feature. Even as you leave this world, you're only 140 characters away from the friends you've come to cherish. Look around at those who join you today. Look hard enough, and you may even find some familiar faces you haven't seen for a very, very long time.

Though your time in this village draws to a close, the universe has settled and found a path to follow. You will always have a place here should you wish to return, and even when you depart for your next destination, your strength and power will follow you.

Your gratitude will be remembered, participants. Congratulations.



Happy endgame, friends! Thank you guys for a fun nine weeks! Here's a breakdown of what's happening in this post.

-All participants have been revived.
-All locations from the game have been opened, including the locations of the CYOAs.
-All characters' homeworlds can be visited.
-Castmates will be able to come through these world portals and play with the game's cast! So feel free to tag each other, etc.
-The Oracle Bells now have a universal network! We have a post over in the free-for-all meme comm so please just spam each other to your heart's content.
-All elemental powers will remain with characters when they leave! This includes their special skills.
-And yes, all injuries are healed and all characters will remember their time here.

Is it? [He looks a little surprised to hear that because as far as he's concerned, Mikazuki's a greater warrior than he'd ever be.] I saw the end...and even then, everything worked out the way it was supposed to for us.

[Sometimes you just gotta die, it's fine.] Thank you for everything. We've worked together for a long time, and I don't think it would have been the same if it was anyone else.

[there's a gentle laugh at that before he tilts his head]

[That just means he gets a bright grin in return.] I'm glad to hear it. There's still things I would have done differently, but...this didn't turn out so bad.

[He doesn't expect an honest answer because it's Mikazuki, but he tries anyway.] Are you okay?

[he always tries. he always, always tries, and that's what manages to get mikazuki's expression to soften]

[A look of understanding flickers across his face because phrasing it like that is just enough for him to really get it. So. Happy that it's over, unsettled by how it was done.]

I think the most important thing I learned here is that we never stop learning no matter how old we are. But that's not really a bad thing as long as people are willing to teach us. Everyone here seems like they would be.

I seriously doubt that. [He has a stupid amount of faith in Mikazuki still.] I have hundreds of years to catch up on, remember? I'm still gonna need you for stuff, so...don't go too far after this.

Age and wisdom are not necessarily always linked.

[he thinks he's wiser than some other old swords even if he's far too polite to ever say such a thing out loud

but also he thinks that roxas has done incredibly well in growing in such a short amount of time]

But as long as you desire for me to be present, I will make myself available to you.

[for his grandson, he doesn't mind answering to someone else's call every now and then. and this is why roxas would be jiji's saniwa.]

[There's a considerable pause...and he makes a face. Okay, maybe that's fair. Here's looking at you, DiZ, you douche. But his expression relaxes again at that.]

Always. [He knows maybe it's a little selfish to want to still rely on Mikazuki after this is over, but he's come to respect his opinion above most people's.] I know you're gonna be just as busy as we are when we all go back, but have you ever had a vacation? I know a place you'd probably like.

[Let Jiji go to the beach and have a nice time.]

[mikazuki is absolutely going to look over roxas forever if that's what he wants? this is his grandson, and even though he believes in allowing humanity to grow without him....

he thinks it'd be nice - to be selfish now and again, if it means that he is able to enjoy time with him for a bit longer.]

A vacation... I cannot say that I have.

I shall trust you as my guide, young one.

[Guess they're stuck together forever now. He has Axel and he has Xion, but Mikazuki's someone different and provides the kind of guidance Roxas found himself needing more than ever here.

That aside, he thinks if anyone deserves a break it's the two of them anyway.]

You'll like it. It's going to feel weird at first because it can be hard to find something to do when you aren't on a mission or training, but it gets a little easier after a while. We can go to the beach and everything.

["We" because the implication is them, his friends, and also Tsuru. Kara can come if he wants but Roxas sure isn't going to ask.]

Ah, the beach... Tsurumaru did tell me that you assigned him a mission to that degree.

Though we went when it was rather dark - I cannot say if we were able to perform our task correctly. You'll have to show us both how to have a proper time at the beach.

It was a really important one. [He wanted the grandpas to have a nice time, it's fine.] Whenever you finish your other missions, that one will come next. It's always going to be there for you whenever you're ready. And we will be, too.
