As the sun rises on Saturday morning, all will be quiet and still in the village. Not a single soul stirs as the sun and the moon linger in the sky, visible should anyone look.

A shimmer of stars spark through the air as a swirl of darkness lifts from the village. Everything has returned to as it once was, all 16 houses in-tact and all buildings precisely as they were before. Beams of light follow, soaring through the air and delivering every single participant back to this plane of existence.

As participants gather their wits and take in their surroundings, they'll find that a celebratory banquet has been prepared for them not unlike the one that originally greeted them. Decorations hang from the rafters and windows as lively music plays and can be heard in every part of the village. Some may even be able to trace the source to a gathering of musical instruments, and even...a turntable? Strange. All manner of fruits and vegetables appear to be perfect for harvest, and a variety of freshly cooked dishes from across many worlds can be found on display at the tables in the center. If you don't see your favorite dish? All of the ingredients can be found, along with amenities to make it yourself.

Surrounding the center of the village, several gateways open one by one, a soft gold glow emitting from them. No dangers linger in these parts, but adventure awaits those who wish to find it. Likewise, silver gateways open alongside these and serve as portals that allow participants to return to their homeworlds whenever they're ready.

Your Oracle Bells are in working condition, all messages saved from your time here and featuring a new network feature. Even as you leave this world, you're only 140 characters away from the friends you've come to cherish. Look around at those who join you today. Look hard enough, and you may even find some familiar faces you haven't seen for a very, very long time.

Though your time in this village draws to a close, the universe has settled and found a path to follow. You will always have a place here should you wish to return, and even when you depart for your next destination, your strength and power will follow you.

Your gratitude will be remembered, participants. Congratulations.



Happy endgame, friends! Thank you guys for a fun nine weeks! Here's a breakdown of what's happening in this post.

-All participants have been revived.
-All locations from the game have been opened, including the locations of the CYOAs.
-All characters' homeworlds can be visited.
-Castmates will be able to come through these world portals and play with the game's cast! So feel free to tag each other, etc.
-The Oracle Bells now have a universal network! We have a post over in the free-for-all meme comm so please just spam each other to your heart's content.
-All elemental powers will remain with characters when they leave! This includes their special skills.
-And yes, all injuries are healed and all characters will remember their time here.

[Well she's already found a few of the KHs (and she won't find Roxas, strangely), but as she walks through the village Kairi spots someone a little familiar. Wherever Naminé is, and whatever she's doing, she'll soon feel a calm presence at her side as she approaches.]

It's pretty quiet here, isn't it? [Hello Naminé. This isn't a Kairi she probably remembers given she has shorter hair and a new outfit, but she certainly remembers her.]

[whitewalls]

[ it's funny how that the last time they met, kairi was the one surprised. and here they are, in reverse situations.

it's even funnier that naminé spent weeks thinking about kairi, but never expected to actually face her like this. ]

... it can get loud.

[drivingforce]

Yeah? [She's looking around, glancing at the people milling around in the area.] I didn't expect to see so many people here, but the other parts of the village are pretty empty.

[She's somehow taking this in stride, giving Naminé a curious and quiet smile.] It's good to see you, Naminé.

[whitewalls]

... I have to admit, I wasn't really expecting to see you.

[ or to be able to just hold a conversation with her. ]

[She tilts her head.] I didn't know where this would lead, but I had to follow it when I heard you guys.

[Did. She just wander through a portal without knowing? Yes.]

[whitewalls]

[ ... ]

Did you just walk through another portal...?

[drivingforce]

Why is everyone saying it like that...

[whitewalls]

... no reason.

[ there is definitely a reason.

but she smiles. ]

I like your hair.

[drivingforce]

[Listen. Can't a girl just walk through a portal or two or three without this judgment? But she lets that point go and she smiles, a hand coming up to toy with the ends of her hair.]

Thanks. Sometimes I miss when it was longer, but it was getting in the way of training. [Also it's cuter and she's kind of relieved.]

[whitewalls]

Training with Axel, right?

[ axel never said he was training with kairi, but going through his gummiphone... it's not hard to put two and two together. ]

[drivingforce]

Yeah. [She doesn't even seem surprised that Naminé knows, but it's also hard to figure what her Nobody would and wouldn't pick up on.] Master Yen Sid thought it would be good for us to learn from Merlin while the others were trying to save the other guardians. Since we were getting ready, Merlin brought us new clothes to help protect us.

[It sounds stupid to say it out loud, but here we are. It's what she figures, anyway.]

[whitewalls]

It took a while to get used to Axel not wearing his coat.

[ granted, she's used to being surrounded by at least one organization cloak at all times, so that didn't help. ]

[drivingforce]

When we first started he was still wearing it, but I think the change was good for him, too. [She pauses to give Naminé a once-over.] You've changed a little, too, haven't you?

[It's maybe not even so much a commentary on her clothing, but something else she can see.]

[whitewalls]

I was told that white washes me out.

[ she knows that kairi isn't referring to just the clothing but

she'll pretend otherwise. ]

[drivingforce]

I wouldn't put it like that, but if this is the end result maybe it's not so bad. [There's another smile because, like, it's fine. They can pretend.] That's a good look for you anyway.

[whitewalls]

... thank you.

[ it's a little odd, talking to her like this. it's not really something she thought she'd ever do with kairi in particular. ]

Have you seen the others yet?

[drivingforce]

Just Axel so far. He explained a little but not everything. [But she tilts her head.] Are there others here? Who else?

[whitewalls]

... Roxas and Saix are around.

[ she's not sure about where kairi is in the timeline, but ]

And Xion.

[drivingforce]

[Her expression doesn't change much, though it's a touch more concerned when Naminé lists those names. She's at least aware of who everyone is.]

Sort of a strange group to end up together, don't you think? [How did this happen?]

[whitewalls]

We have theories, but... we don't know for sure why.

[ she knows that roxas said he'd try to talk to the universe, but naminé does not want to out why roxas might be able to find out and the rest won't. ]

But at least we can go home now.

[drivingforce]

Good. [She looks satisfied with that, at least, because it means whatever happened to them is over and they can go back to living their lives.] ...you weren't waiting here too long, were you?

[whitewalls]

No, not really.

[ just two months it's fine ]

[drivingforce]

That's also good to know. [There's a moment's pause.] Are you ready to come home?

[whitewalls]

... I'm ready.

[ there's a pause as she glances towards the different portals. ]

I've had time to think about it.

[drivingforce]

[That's a weird way to phrase it, but it doesn't hurt that she's unaware of what the other girl's thinking.]
