As the sun rises on Saturday morning, all will be quiet and still in the village. Not a single soul stirs as the sun and the moon linger in the sky, visible should anyone look.

A shimmer of stars spark through the air as a swirl of darkness lifts from the village. Everything has returned to as it once was, all 16 houses in-tact and all buildings precisely as they were before. Beams of light follow, soaring through the air and delivering every single participant back to this plane of existence.

As participants gather their wits and take in their surroundings, they'll find that a celebratory banquet has been prepared for them not unlike the one that originally greeted them. Decorations hang from the rafters and windows as lively music plays and can be heard in every part of the village. Some may even be able to trace the source to a gathering of musical instruments, and even...a turntable? Strange. All manner of fruits and vegetables appear to be perfect for harvest, and a variety of freshly cooked dishes from across many worlds can be found on display at the tables in the center. If you don't see your favorite dish? All of the ingredients can be found, along with amenities to make it yourself.

Surrounding the center of the village, several gateways open one by one, a soft gold glow emitting from them. No dangers linger in these parts, but adventure awaits those who wish to find it. Likewise, silver gateways open alongside these and serve as portals that allow participants to return to their homeworlds whenever they're ready.

Your Oracle Bells are in working condition, all messages saved from your time here and featuring a new network feature. Even as you leave this world, you're only 140 characters away from the friends you've come to cherish. Look around at those who join you today. Look hard enough, and you may even find some familiar faces you haven't seen for a very, very long time.

Though your time in this village draws to a close, the universe has settled and found a path to follow. You will always have a place here should you wish to return, and even when you depart for your next destination, your strength and power will follow you.

Your gratitude will be remembered, participants. Congratulations.

Happy endgame, friends! Thank you guys for a fun nine weeks! Here's a breakdown of what's happening in this post.

-All participants have been revived.
-All locations from the game have been opened, including the locations of the CYOAs.
-All characters' homeworlds can be visited.
-Castmates will be able to come through these world portals and play with the game's cast! So feel free to tag each other, etc.

-All elemental powers will remain with characters when they leave! This includes their special skills.
-And yes, all injuries are healed and all characters will remember their time here.

That’d mean you’d be able to create your own style rather than having to adhere to what’s expected of hers, wouldn’t it? [ Thinking about big name designers she does actually know, there’s usually something about their styles that remains similar or is synonymous with their brand. It sounds confining, if the brand isn’t your own and you have to mould to fit it. ] That sounds tough, but fun as well.

Protocols are usually in English as well, but there are some Japanese run trials or sites based in Japan so there will be a number in Japanese too. But learning English just seems like a better idea, really. Especially for international conferences.

Yup. Her style's great, I don't mind that. Mom's really creative but I think Hikaru and I would try something different anyway. He doesn't have the patience for doing the actual work very often but we have a lot of similar tastes and ideas we could work out. [He wants to just do whatever he wants, more or less.]

How much practice have you had with English so far anyway? I could probably help you.

If you don't have the patience for the number crunching, that's probably the workings of an excellent partnership straight away. [ ... ] But he would have to work. Otherwise that could be a problem.

Mostly school related? But I have been able to read some books in English and understand what was happening. But they do say that you should converse in a language you want to learn as much as possible. It's not like I've had regular English classes in around a year.

[He waves a hand. Back to making excuses for his twin, it seems.] We have time to figure it out. He might do more of the design aspect anyway which is the hardest part. Both of us have practice.

[But there's a nod. That makes sense, it's the basics, and he doesn't really expect her to be fluent given the fact she's busy with zombies.] ...they speak English in Boston. It's going to be really easy to test ourselves there.

[He could outright say what he's thinking, but nah.]

If it's a team venture, then as long as you're both contributing that's probably the most important thing. [ Kaoru, the #1 Hikaru stan. ]

That's half the benefit of studying abroad though, isn't it? The cultural exchange and language exchange, as much as the chance to study in new ways and see new places. [ Be brave, Kaoru. ]

I'll have to keep practising myself, so I can spring tests on you.

That wasn't exactly why we left in the first place but those are nice benefits anyway. [They definitely just went to be together, it's fine.] It's for a year, so we'll have to make the most of our time, but a lot can happen in a short amount of time anyway.

[But he raises an eyebrow.] You wouldn't really come back to me just to give me pop quizzes, would you?

What was the main reason, then? ... A year is both a long time and no time at all. As long as you don't wish it away, I'm sure you'll get lots out of your time here.

[ Looking him dead in the eye. ]

Probably. Or I'd at least make you speak in English for a bit. [ You made your dating choices, Kaoru. ] Why? Not interested in surprise visits?

The main reason for moving? [Hm...] It doesn't make sense to break up a family, does it? [But he's staring right back.] I don't plan on forgetting or wishing away everything that happened here. That seems counterproductive.

[He just. Makes a face.] I'm all for surprise visits but not if you're only showing up to test me.

Some people do, depending on what happens. I hope your experiences are all good ones though.

[ She looks very serious for a moment, before sticking out her tongue. She's a serious girl. So serious. ] There are other reasons I'd show up, I suppose.

They usually are. I don't think Milord would allow anything but good experiences anymore.

[He's cracking a smile though because he can't deal with his Absolutely Serious girlfriend, even as he leans forward just a little.] I'm interested in those other reasons, if you don't mind sharing.

There's always gonna be not amazing things that happen. But that makes all the good things better, right?

[ She's being very serious you know. After a moment, she leans forward herself. ] Hmm. I wonder what they could be.

[He outright laughs.] You'd be surprised what kind of power we hold. [Tamaki won't let anything happen to them anymore. He believes that, at least. But it's no time for that kind of thinking and instead he settles for a grin.]

I do have a few guesses...[And since they're this close, there's a devilish sort of smirk before he closes the gap to kiss her. She started this, this is not his fault.]

Somehow you manage to make that sound both interesting, and threatening at the same time.

[ Oh. Well. You reap what you sow. She's clearly very bothered by this, given the way she's using his shoulders to steady her balance so she can lean into the kiss.

Yeah. Yeah, the guesses are probably correct. ]

[Somehow this kiss lasts a little longer than the others, a hand loosely holding her waist and eyes closed for the time being to really cherish it. On the other hand, he's still trying not to laugh as one does in a situation like this, and he pulls back shortly after.]

Both of those are just synonymous for power. Are you scared?

[ Well it's not like she's going to complain about that? Although she does poke him in the shoulder when it becomes apparent he's trying not to laugh as well. ]

No. Curious how he'll pull it off, but not scared.

All the more reason for you to come back to me when you're ready, isn't it? [May as well outright say it. He's used to getting his way anyway.]

[ She blinks at him. ]

That was the plan -- as long as I'm not intruding.

[ Like there was going to be any alternative? ]

[It's his turn to blink.]

Somehow I thought it'd be a bigger argument than that. [But sure. He takes a moment to think this over.] ...Hikaru's going to have a lot of questions and probably be kind of an ass about it, but I'll handle him. The others will like you though.

[ Miki wins this round. ]

Really? I mean. I need to go home and make sure everything's working out okay but... even if it's fine now, or reset, I'll remember things as they were. I'm not sure I'll really be comfortable there again.

[ Hm. ] What kind of questions?

Fair enough. Just don't stay away too long, okay? We're not staying in Boston for very long. I'd hate to miss you in an overlap. [At the Hikaru question though, he falters a bit and shrugs.]

It's just...you know. You're a commoner. It'll be a lot of questions about that. And about the apocalypse. And about you.

How long? I'll come and visit if I can, before moving out completely. [ She'd... hate if she missed Kaoru just because sorting out things back home took too long. Although she could probably just google rich boy schools in Japan to find where his regular school is. ]

Hm. I never really though about it, but I guess that must be a sticking point with richer families... is it a problem? [ ... ] I can field questions on the literal end of the world, if you're not comfortable with the topic. [ ... about her? Well. She can probably field questions on that. If need be. ]

A year. The school year in America is a little different than at home so we'll be leaving in June of next year I think. [It's not that hard to google Hitachiin and find information about him either, to be fair. But he just kind of sighs and...laughs awkwardly? Hm.]

I don't know if it's a problem...? We've known Haruhi for a while and you're similar to her, but he's bound to say something stupid and be judgmental so if you don't mind that I'll introduce the two of you. [Not that Kaoru himself isn't judgmental sometimes, but he knows Hikaru.] He's my best friend but he's still growing up. Go easy on him.
