On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

I'm not aware of most human literary trends. I don't have much time to read.

Sounds like a very complicated story. [Idly. There's a lot to process with that.] I don't think anyone would blame you for not liking him that much then.

A lot of these are for school events or university planning. To show off leadership potential and remain in good standing with certain families. [...but more importantly:] What's a job fair?

We should go look later. [He doesn't care so much about the earth kingdom but he's fine with the air for whatever reason.] It's hard to see from this far away. [Shuffleshuffle. Ash falls and rocks scatter. His fingers are getting tired though.] If it's only canyons that makes the geography of this place even weirder.

Seashells? [What a funny thing to collect, but it's kind of cute. Sure.] I didn't look at the beach for long enough, but you might find some there. [He's paying attention to the task at hand, coming up with some of the fluffiest and most purple dresses he can find.

Aside from that, he's also picking a few with smaller skirts and some detailing at the top. They're all some combination of purple and black or purple and white.]

...the black would go nicely with your hair, I think. And you could probably put another flower in it.

[After Val has stepped off of the dance floor and away from his partner his eyes match Milla's. This sure feels like an ambush, though he simply nods.]

They might! What if there's like a challenge to break something down into its atomic particles and you get something to work with that's not listing the chemical makeup of sardines! What if you get like one of the cave crystals and you don't even know where to start!?

[He is absolutely fueling potential panic on purpose.]

What do they need to know about cave crystals for? Aren't Sol and Lune the people studying this place?

Do friends have to do anything?

[ Empusa is a pretty weak Persona, in the end, not one he ever remembers fighting with or keeping on his roster for very long. But they all hang out in his sea of souls, regardless of if he needs them or not, so... they don't do anything. They just exist, and that's fine with him too. ]

Ah... That might've been it? Less oxygen, greater air pressure, the incline was pretty steep... Kept getting rocks in my shoes...

[ No, he just got in trouble because he's weak and can't handle physical exertion for longer than half an hour at a time. ]
