As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Lune who speaks up first this time.

"Good morning, good morning. You've done well to purge the corruption in the previous gateway - allow us to assist with the finishing touches. For the time being, it would appear as though we've been able to locate another. The land might appear a bit familiar to some however... I only advise you watch your step."

When Lune finishes, Sol chimes in from their place at Lune's side.

"The corruption is still out there, and we're going to do all that we can to find a way to contain it. But until then... stick close to others this week. Do your best to protect yourselves and look after each other. Okay?"

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

The only oddity is that throughout the week, in a noise that extends past the portal but seems to resound even through the village, there will be the occasional, resounding call of a war horn.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will find ever-growing feelings of anxiety and nervousness dwelling within them the longer they are separated from one another. They will feel compelled to be very close to their partners at all times, and will be on edge if separated for more than an hour by the end of the week. Welcome to surprise codependence at its finest.

What are we using the dice for though...

[he's so confused]

[ Minato looks around and tries to find something suitable. Something small... Some of these beads might work, originally part of a rosary or something, maybe. They're large enough, and gives when Minato takes out his nail and desecrates a tick mark on the side of it.

He holds up the end product when he's done, a sort of roundish dice with six numbers etched into the sides of it. ]

Hey, nice craftsmanship!

[he still doesn't know why they need dice but he knows a job well done when he sees one]

[ They need dice to play Luigi board, obviously. ]

Alright. I think I know how this works. First, you ask the board a question.

Okay! Uhhh... which of us is more immune to cyanide!

[swift wind no.]

Settling it with the board, huh? Let's see who it is.

[ He shakes the dice up in between his palms and lets it drop onto the board. It lands on K, number 3.

... ]

Uhh...

[what does that MEAN.]

[ .......... ]

It says "Minato."

...it's a 3 on a K, in what language does that spell "Minato"?

[HE'S ON TO YOU.]

That sounds fake.

Different cultures have different languages. I know it sounds fake, but that's no reason to dismiss it. We should be mindful, or we might get cursed.

No way are these spirits or whatever gonna curse us. I'd like to see them try!

You're tempting fate........ If I get cursed, people are going to lecture me, so let's try not to.

They're gonna lecture you if you try to drink cyanide again too.

[ And now he's being lectured by the horse. ]

Yeah... well... I wasn't going to swallow the whole thing. Like I said, just a little taste isn't deadly, I'd just get violently ill. But it would answer a question, and that's the price I was willing to pay.
