Week Two

As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Lune who speaks up first this time.

"Good morning, good morning. You've done well to purge the corruption in the previous gateway - allow us to assist with the finishing touches. For the time being, it would appear as though we've been able to locate another. The land might appear a bit familiar to some however... I only advise you watch your step."

When Lune finishes, Sol chimes in from their place at Lune's side.

"The corruption is still out there, and we're going to do all that we can to find a way to contain it. But until then... stick close to others this week. Do your best to protect yourselves and look after each other. Okay?"

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

The only oddity is that throughout the week, in a noise that extends past the portal but seems to resound even through the village, there will be the occasional, resounding call of a war horn.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will find ever-growing feelings of anxiety and nervousness dwelling within them the longer they are separated from one another. They will feel compelled to be very close to their partners at all times, and will be on edge if separated for more than an hour by the end of the week. Welcome to surprise codependence at its finest.

[ well, he definitely looks like he is with his sasuke cosplay. he has kunai strapped in places and even has a fanny pack which is probably full of more kunai. there's also a sword he's checked out from the village on his back.

giving a nod of approval at the big ass weapon he found and then waving him along. this is going to be the quietest fight isn't it.

he'll point at some samurai fighting some of the ninja. want to pick them off? ]

[ saix is actually sasuke, thanks..... he don't wear no fannypack. ]

[ saix can appreciate a fellow werewolf man of little words, honestly, so he's fine to go along with this. but something weird happens when feral indicates the ninja? he smiles? what the fuck? ]

[ it's not a nice smile. he nods. ]

[ ready when you are, buddy, but don't expect him to be subtle!! ]

[ feral is going to pretend he doesn't notice the smile

pls don't get happy in battle.

okay, just going to trust saix will be close by as he rushes over to throw kunai at the enemy. aiming for their necks or other exposed skin. ]

[ sometimes u just wanna beat people up and let loose a little!! it's stress relief!! violent stress relief! ]

[ meaning, yeah, saix about to go a lil batshit on the battlefield!!! he's really savage when he's fighting ]

[ well, you go apeshit then. feral will go watch your back.

he'll throw more kunai, and making sure he's out of range from the huge ass sword.

pls don't actually cleave him or anything. ]

[ it's fine he's not full berserk so he's still mindful of his surroundings. feral is safe! despite the general bellowing and yelling and slashing. of which there is a lot! ]

MOVE ASIDE!

[ they are very outnumbered but maybe.... they won't die ]

[ maybe they should thin the herd.

aiming another for a dude's eyes and and then waving to get saix's attention. pointing to the maze. 420 maze it?

aiming some more at non-lethal areas just to get their attention before he heads that way himself. ]

[ bottleneck them into the maze.... yes, good idea. he sees where he's going with this. ]

[ he knocks his current assailants down with a powerful pidgeotto gust from his claymore, then heads off towards the maze, confident that they'll all follow. ]

[ he looks happy that he gets it for a second, before back to serious time. he'll continue into the maze, going in a bit.

hopefully it's doesn't make it difficult for saix to use his weapon. once there he's pulling out his sword. he'll wait until saix is clear first. ]

[ sometimes...... he can pick up on things. it's an incredible twist, we know. ]

[ but no, it's fine. he can adapt. honestly, it's nice just to be able to fight and vent his issues, let loose.... even if the moon isn't out :/ :/ ]

[ what he's trying to do is trap them between himself and feral, give them no escape. but it might not work out so neatly ]

[ lune needs to stand on the battlefield for him clearly

good thinking! feral is going to take that as he's ready as he rushes forward to cross swords with the one closest to him. bringing a knee up to slam into his stomach before he moves his blade to try to get at his neck, while pushing back into the one behind him. ]

no worries we're close to 15!!!

[ with the enemy being successfully bottlenecked, saix starts to realy let loose, grinning slightly insanely...ly....... feral can herd them towards saix, they're not getting past him!! ]

saix and hisoka should fight

[ before the first one can fall, he shoves it roughly on to the sword of the one behind him. then he'll slice across his neck quickly.

a quick glance over at saix to make sure he's okay and seeing yeah he's definitely okay. ]

hisoka would enjoy that too much

[ about when that happens --- one of the narutos manages to get the upperhand on saix -- with fire. ]

[ saix roars in pain as it happens, dropping the claymore momentarily -- before he grabs it with his other hand and keeps charging. while on fire. it's fine. ]

[ deral aims a round house kick to someone's head and then charges the next. his attention is caught again on saix as he sees the flames.

it's enough of a distraction that he misses the gun until it's just about to be fired. grabbing a kunai and throwing it at the guy's hand, but he still pulls the trigger as his hand is jerked down.

good news, he can't fucking feel it just yet, but he knows he was shot somewhere. they are good at this ]

[ well, good news!!!! getting burned making saix stronger!! strong enough to take out the remaining narutos, starting with the two who landed a hit on them! ]

[ don't die while they're cleaning up, feral!! ]

and good job. once they are down, he'll use ice magic to help put out the flames on saix first. gritting his teeth as he does his best to ignore the way his top is starting to feel damp. it's okay. ]
