week three: mingle
Week Three
24 in Competition
24 in Competition
As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.
Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.
As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Lune who speaks up first this time.
"Good morning, good morning. You've done well to purge the corruption in the previous gateway - allow us to assist with the finishing touches. For the time being, it would appear as though we've been able to locate another. I wonder if you'll find the skyline familiar? Do try to be kind to those you find on the other side."
When Lune finishes, Sol chimes in from their place at Lune's side.
"You guys did great minimizing the damage and working together...so keep it up."
The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.
In addition, as the week goes on, partners will begin to experience the emotions of one another. The clarity of these emotions enhances with proximity, and they will be able to feel the emotions of their partner's intermingling with their own.

Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, murder proposals are open. We will also be having another CYOA this week! Sign ups are here and will close on Tuesday at 8 AM PST.
In addition, ensure that all of your week two private conversations were reported on the page, and your week three private conversations are reported on that page. If you'll be taking anything from locations, please report that as well.

he looks. stupidly excited about this ]
You know how to ride?
no subject
[It’s said with a nod, before she walks to it and swings one leg over the bike. She pats the spot behind her.]
Hop on.
no subject
Traveling by motorcycle sounds a lot more fun than what I was doing.
no subject
[She laughs lightly as she sees him put his hands on the seat, turning around halfway so she can face him.]
That’s not going to work, you’re going to have to put them around my waist.
no subject
..... ]
Makes sense.
[ is he embarrassed? Maybe So, but he. delicately. puts his arms around her waist
while also trying to somehow not touch her too much, so this is working out fine and normal ]
no subject
What were you doing that was so bad, by the way?
no subject
they are, in fact, already pretty close. this is fine. ]
Wasn't bad, just boring. Actually, it was pretty similar to the way the gateways work.
no subject
Yeah? Like, you got to see little snippets of a bunch of different places, or...?
no subject
Sorta, yeah. I meant more how we got there, though. Travel between worlds is kind of a pain.
no subject
[But, hm.]
I’m going to start it, and you’re going to fall off if you don’t scoot up. Just as a note.
no subject
[ ah. hm. he scoots a little so that they are at least flush and he is holding on, even if he's not. actually properly grabbing, still.
speaking of flush ha ha ha yeah don't look back ]
C'mon, it can't be that bad.
no subject
[She gives a small shrug.]
You're about to find out. You ready?
no subject
[ an important? distinction? anyway ]
Ready as I'll ever be. Hit it.
no subject
[Whatever his response is might get cut off, though, because she starts to go. Maybe a little bit faster than she necessarily has to, but she's at least pressing one arm against his to make sure he's holding on tight enough for a moment before moving it back to the handles.]
no subject
second of all, this is still incredibly silly as a visual, considering he towers over her and to properly hang on at this point he's definitely hunched over more than a little. he is, also, laughing in delight ]
You gunned it!
[ can she even hear. it doesn't matter ]
no subject
It's more fun that way!
no subject
No kidding!
no subject
no subject
[ and before that can be answered, he. that.
what the FUCK is in the sky ]
... What the--
no subject
...Okay, this has been fun, but we're turning around immediately.
no subject
Think we should wave back at it?
[ it's A THUMB, DUMBASS ]
no subject
[goodbye, giant sky thumb]
no subject
[ stop being curious about giant thumbs, lea. ]
no subject
[Off they go in the other direction!]
no subject
You're not even a little curious?
