It may be difficult to sleep with the light shining so brightly throughout the night, but the participants can rest easy knowing they will not be plagued by unwanted, disturbing dreams. Early the next day, a bell chimes and all will feel compelled to enter the main meeting hall.

The hall looks mostly the same as it always has, the two thrones for Lune and Sol at the head of the room and scrolls hanging from the walls. The metal box sits on a table near the front, along with the glass boxes perfectly centered before the benches in the room. Now that the trial is in session, Swift Wind and Hisoka's coffins are open, and their bodies will be available for examination.

Lune and Sol are seated in their thrones, patiently waiting for the last participant to settle. It's only when everyone has gathered that Sol speaks first.

"We've got a lot of ground to cover today. Don't give up."

They stop, glancing at Lune and gesturing for them to say their piece.

"Face the truth directly, and don't turn away from what you may find."

Hello, everyone, and welcome to the fourth trial!

We'll go over a few notes briefly as we will be playing this trial a bit differently than other games.

As noted, there was no investigation period on Friday. However, today participants will have the chance to investigate areas in the game setting as they see fit! This can be done by providing the name of the location you want to visit to the host header comment. To help with the ease of the trial and for IC mechanics, only one location may be visited at a time. In addition, these locations can be manipulated and adjusted upon request to test theories and solve puzzles, so please feel free to ask if you're searching for clues! Your host will also be accompanying you on these visits.

Most importantly, before the trial is over, please place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.

So now that my point has been proven— Ookurikara needs to calm the fuck down before he gets more people killed by being a stubborn asshole.

Someone innocent may die anyway. If we let him stay free, he can kill others, and even more of us will be left without partners. I won't allow that.

[her hands ball into fists, because she wants to be doing what kara and saix are? she wants him dead just as much as anyone else?]

I'm not saying let him be free, but we don't have a solution right now to keep someone else from needlessly dying yet. I won't accept another person's life being put in danger without even trying, or you're no better than him. So help me look for one first!

And what are we supposed to do with him until then? You saw his ability as well as I do. We have no way of containing him, for however long it will take to find another way.

All powers are capped at once a week. He's done for now. Milla and the others will watch him. Make him use it on Monday once if he lives until then, curse him to be fearful again - I don't care.

We'll figure out something. Just not this. Not yet.

What's to stop him from escaping, if he has the chance to use it again? We can't stop him by watching him.

[she frowns]

We have a day to get something to nullify his power - or break his limbs as Milla suggested.

If we don't find anything in three hours, we can vote for him and I don't care what you do to remove him. But at least direct your efforts elsewhere until then.

[ ookurikara is not convinced - until shirasu speaks up. kara stares at him for a long moment, then at lili, before sheathing his sword and stalking away. ]

[god she hates shirasu and still spares him a glare

before following after ookurikara, at least looking faintly worried]

... we have three hours to find the corrupted, and after this we can try to see if we can get another repartnering item.

[ he's going straight to lune sorry dana ]

Will we have time for that, before tomorrow?

If at the very least he can't use his powers and others are available to watch him, he's not an immediate threat. He doesn't deserve to be alive when he can hurt others...

[she shakes her head]

[ he hates being helpless and it feels like that's all he ever is in this place. and kara, for one, still isn't convinced that shirasu isn't going to be a threat, if they leave him alive. ]

[she reaches up, placing a hand on his shoulder]

[ he slows, turning to look curiously at lili. ]

Yes. Do you have something in mind?

Not yet, but I will.

[she sounds certain of this for some reason, but that sure is just the lili way]

I'm not giving up, and you're not allowed to either. You said you trust me, and I trust you, so we're not allowed to mess up or falter. Alright?

I never said anything about giving up.

[ ...after a moment, though, he continues. ]

I do trust you, but they won't. They might ask you to show your ability again, just to be sure.

[ he hesitates, but - ]
