As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"We've been asked to open another gateway for you guys, but...it's funny. It sort of feels like things have calmed down. The corruption's temporarily evened out and the universe is stabilized for now, but that doesn't mean we should stop looking. Take a look and see what you can find on the other side. You might even get to learn something new."

When Sol finishes, they turn to face Lune, allowing for the other to speak for themselves.

"A bit of reprieve of welcome, isn't it? Please take this time to recover, even as you make steps forward to continue your good work. Thank you, thank you."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will be able to hear each other's thoughts whenever they look at one another! They may not hear every single thought that occurs, but the link will partners to hear thoughts as though their partner is speaking out loud. The more private the thought, the more likely the partner will pick up on it.



Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, this is break week! This means no murders and no trial! Your normal schedule will resume next week. We will still be hosting a laid-back mini-event on Tuesday, however.

[ Um, the shopkeeper probably doesn't want that? In fact, before the shopkeeper comes back, Minato picks up the twitching chocolate frog body and underhand tosses it at Kara for him to have, while he picks the leg off the floor and eats that one too. ]

kara does catch the frog, but all he does once it's in his hands is stare at it in dismay. what the fuck is he supposed to do with a half-dead chocolate frog. ]

[ Pay for it, or eat it. Or both, preferably in that order.

Minato, helpfully(?) points at the frog, points at Kara's face. ]

he stares at minato. what is that supposed to mean. ]

[ He stares back at Kara, but they're not partners so he can't read Kara's mind. He can sort of guess, though, where the hesitance is, so he steps forward and— if Kara doesn't immediately throw him to the ground— sets his hands over Kara's so he can help lift it to his mouth.

[ he doesn't judo flip minato this time, he just. frowns at being touched, and leans back away from the chocolate frog as it's lifted to his mouth. ]

I"m not eating it.

[ how could he do that when it's already suffered so much? ]

Minato steps back when he does, though, lifting his hands on either side of his head and holding a finger up from each hand, I'm not explaining this very well the best stock image Google's giving me is this so please imagine something like this, but sleepier. ]

[ how does kara, who doesn't even know what charades is, always end up playing charades. ]

[ and why are you talking. he knows minato is able. ]

[ Maybe he just doesn't want to talk. Minato keeps his devil horns up by the side of the head and tilts his head at Kara. He looks expectant, as if Kara of all people should know what he's talking about. ]

[ well this is awkward because he has no fucking clue what this is supposed to mean. ]

I don't know what that means.

[ Minato's disappointed in you, Kara ):

He sighs, shaking his head, and holds out his hand. ]

[ sorry minato, swords are dumb

his stare turns to minato's hand, still confused ]

...You want the frog?

[ haven't you mutilated it enough ]

[ Kara's smart enough to understand that, at least.

Minato nods, because he absolutely has not mutilated it enough. It's melting a little in Kara's hands by now too, probably. ]

[ well i guess he's going to hand it over because he has no idea what else minato wants from him right now ]

[ No, that's exactly what he wants, he takes the frog and bites it in half, the sort of heathen that chews his chocolate instead of letting it melt.

He also pushes his lucky by patting Kara on the arm- this is probably in thanks, but Minato's hands are covered with melted chocolate. Either way, he's turning tail and heading to the bathroom to hide/wash his hands. ]

[ and we're back to looking mildly horrified at how minato is treating this poor frog??

at least until he touches kara. then he just stares in dismay at the melted chocolate left on his shirt sleeve. why is minato the way that he is. ]

[ It's fine?? Two more chomps and there is no poor frog.

Minato's going to maybe run away now and make use of that kitchen while Kara's preoccupied here. ]
