Week Four

As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"We've been asked to open another gateway for you guys, but...it's funny. It sort of feels like things have calmed down. The corruption's temporarily evened out and the universe is stabilized for now, but that doesn't mean we should stop looking. Take a look and see what you can find on the other side. You might even get to learn something new."

When Sol finishes, they turn to face Lune, allowing for the other to speak for themselves.

"A bit of reprieve of welcome, isn't it? Please take this time to recover, even as you make steps forward to continue your good work. Thank you, thank you."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will be able to hear each other's thoughts whenever they look at one another! They may not hear every single thought that occurs, but the link will partners to hear thoughts as though their partner is speaking out loud. The more private the thought, the more likely the partner will pick up on it.



Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, this is break week! This means no murders and no trial! Your normal schedule will resume next week. We will still be hosting a laid-back mini-event on Tuesday, however.

In addition, ensure that all of your week three private conversations were reported on the page, and your week four private conversations are reported on that page. If you'll be taking anything from locations, please report that as well.

[ Minato sighs and attempts to fork tuna into his mouth and spills half of it on his face but that's fine, he'll wash off in the lake after. ]

Handrail thingies on stairs. The ones that are held up by big posts.

[ He would not know either one. Like he doesn't know what a shower is, or whatever. This place is a castle and he's not sure if they're in the chamberpot ages or how modern the facilities are. ]

Can I put a pillow at the bottom of the stairs before you try?

[ IT WONT HELP AT ALL? ]

[ lea is a Responsible Adult and he puts 2 whole pillows. at the bottom. and then stays down here to watch the carnage i guess, shouting out: ]

Pillows are ready! Still need me to hold your tuna?

[ minato's gonna fucking die ]

[ Minato nods, and- instead of trotting down the stairs to hand Axel the can and then trotting back up, sets the can on the banister and slides it down Axel's way. Will it make it the entire length? Probably not. ]

the can splatters halfway down, spilling its content all over the stairs, sadly. ]

... Now you try to do better than the can.

[ he's not cleaning it up. it's staying there. ]

[ Know that Minato just lost his only meal of the day without so much as taking a bite of it first. He is not eating today.

But maybe he'll fare better than the can? He's pretty confident in his balance, even with a missing ear and the fact that his right side splinted and bandaged up and weight more than his right. It's fine, because instead of sitting on the railing, Minato just flops himself over it, arms danging over one side and legs on the other, stomach a little painful with the rail jutting into it and making it very hard to breathe, but it's fine. He pushes off and lets himself slide. Wheeeeeee-- ]

[ minato PLEASE

speaking of minato please, the fact that he decided to go stomach down and head first is... uh... a choice, considering there is definitely a round knob thing at the bottom. to make it look Pretty.

wuh-oh ]

Sit up! Sit up!!

[ Minato jolts upright and tips over the side of the banister and his fate is now in Axel's hands. ]

[leaberator]

[ Here's the thing, the logical response here is to just accept that Minato is fucking dead. Lea's too far from where he's falling to even attempt to stop him without also dying on the staircase.

So, obviously, he bounds up it to try and catch Minato before he falls and dies, finally freeing him. Of course, because that was a real dumb idea, he only manages to kind of ram himself in between Minato and the stairs for about two seconds, lowering the initial impact to Painful But Not Deadly, before the momentum sends them both careening down the remaining stairs in a bundle of limbs and mistakes.

luckily their catastrophic failure ends on two pillows. wow. so good. so helpful.

[ At least they tumble down the stairs instead of over the other edge down into the abyss 34535096 feet below. Minato is bleeding somewhere again, but everywhere hurts so he can't tell if it's his nose or his ear hole or something new. Axel just had his kidney almost rupture last week?? He should not be hanging out with Minato, Naminé can tell him this. ]

[ to be fair. axel deserves this? he is an adult.

as it is, he's just going to stay lying down on the floor in a tangle of limbs with broken minato. it's fine. he can stay here forever. ]

... Yeah, that worked about how I should've expected it to. [ there's probably tuna on them both somehow. ] The good news is, you're down the stairs. The bad news is-- I'm not sure if you lived through it? Hey, Minato, you alright?

[ There's no answer from Minato. He's probably dead. ]

[ oh my god is he for real dead. axel untangles himself with a wince (ow. his everything) to look at him in concern ]

Uh. Minato? Now would be a good time to send me a thumbs up or something.

[ he's gonna get murdered by akane ]

Minato continues to pretend to be dead. ]

[ that said, he. gets up, painfully, and. picks up minato ]

[ I can say faint if I want!! I can say it's getting fainter by the minute and now it's reality.

Is there a nurse in this school? Who knows. Minato's going to continue being Schrodinger's dead until Friday and Xion goes "are we all still alive?" and Axel can go "Haha, actually" ]

anyway axel is like, highkey worried minato is bleeding internally from a head wound and will die, so he's rushing to get him sOMEWHERE, but, also. ]

Anyways, he smells like lake water because he slept in lake water, but maybe it's a step up from smelling like sea water all the time? I can't wait to give Minato a concussion again, because concussion Minato is somehow goodend!Minato, he's self-preservation!Minato. ]
