As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"We've been asked to open another gateway for you guys, but...it's funny. It sort of feels like things have calmed down. The corruption's temporarily evened out and the universe is stabilized for now, but that doesn't mean we should stop looking. Take a look and see what you can find on the other side. You might even get to learn something new."

When Sol finishes, they turn to face Lune, allowing for the other to speak for themselves.

"A bit of reprieve of welcome, isn't it? Please take this time to recover, even as you make steps forward to continue your good work. Thank you, thank you."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will be able to hear each other's thoughts whenever they look at one another! They may not hear every single thought that occurs, but the link will partners to hear thoughts as though their partner is speaking out loud. The more private the thought, the more likely the partner will pick up on it.



Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, this is break week! This means no murders and no trial! Your normal schedule will resume next week. We will still be hosting a laid-back mini-event on Tuesday, however.

But this is kinda nice. More relaxing than the last couple of weeks, that's for sure.

But we have a week of peace. Might as well just enjoy it, right?

I know they said the corruption calmed, but I'd like to make it to Saturday before I can rest easy.

[stillstands]

... Yeah, it does feel a little too good to be true. I want to choose to believe what they've said though.

[ If just because last weekend was such a clusterfuck. ]

No injuries, no death. That's the goal.

[He looks exhausted for a moment.]

I'd prefer no more stabbings.

[ Oh boy, shared exhaustion. ]

Of course. I've promised to help people here as much as I can. Milla already had Shirasu under control.

[And also Val cared much more about Lea than he normally would.]

... She sort of had him under control. She let Saix get close enough to--[ she makes a smacking motion with her hand, probably rattling a teacup. ]-- if we call that "under control".

[ ... ]

You... seemed a bit shaken by it all. Was everything alright? Relatively speaking.

[It seems reasonable enough to him to break Shirasu's legs, but for the moment he's drinking the overly sweet tea.]

I'm... very grateful Lea didn't die on Saturday.

[ Break? Maybe. Shatter into pieces with a bananamace? Excessive. ]

... Yeah. I am as well. He's a good guy.

[He was busy reliving his worst nightmare. He missed most of what happened to Shirasu until after the fact.]

He is pleasant company, and he certainly works hard.

That can be said about a lot of people here. Almost all of us are trying our best.

[ Minato is trying his best in his own way!!! ]

Until this weekend I would've said Hisoka. And now we know Shirasu was busy trying to frame Four through unprovoked murder, so I wouldn't say he's a shining example of participation either.

[omegathree]

We have one person out there that killed Swift Wind as well.

[stillstands]

[ Citation needed. ]

Yes. We need to find out who that was as well -- they undid all the hard work that went into saving him, and they weren't even corrupted.

[omegathree]

[Val is lucky he didn't trip over a teenager.]

They didn't even wait for longer than a week. Why did they have something against him?

[stillstands]

I don't know.

Now we know about Kazuaki, it's likely he was considered an easy target, and one everyone seemed to like so there would be anger directed at the killer. Seeing as it was all part of a set up...

[ She sighs. ]

Maybe someone blamed Swift Wind for the previous murders? Even though it wasn't his fault.

[omegathree]

This time there didn't seem to be much pointing at a scapegoat. There was alcohol everywhere, a cup with traces of cyanide, and apple products at the amphitheater.

[stillstands]

It was all things that appeared in the crimes the corrupted did. The poison, the apples... this wasn't just opportunity, it was someone making a point. And they said it seemed like Swift Wind went with his killer willingly...

[ He'd felt guilty. Someone could play that to their advantage. ]

[omegathree]

Swift Wind was genuinely repentant when I spoke to him last. Did they want to remind him of what he'd done under the Corruption's influence?
