As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"We've been asked to open another gateway for you guys, but...it's funny. It sort of feels like things have calmed down. The corruption's temporarily evened out and the universe is stabilized for now, but that doesn't mean we should stop looking. Take a look and see what you can find on the other side. You might even get to learn something new."

When Sol finishes, they turn to face Lune, allowing for the other to speak for themselves.

"A bit of reprieve of welcome, isn't it? Please take this time to recover, even as you make steps forward to continue your good work. Thank you, thank you."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will be able to hear each other's thoughts whenever they look at one another! They may not hear every single thought that occurs, but the link will partners to hear thoughts as though their partner is speaking out loud. The more private the thought, the more likely the partner will pick up on it.



Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, this is break week! This means no murders and no trial! Your normal schedule will resume next week. We will still be hosting a laid-back mini-event on Tuesday, however.

In addition, ensure that all of your week three private conversations were reported on the page, and your week four private conversations are reported on that page. If you'll be taking anything from locations, please report that as well.

[Golden arrows only make him think of one specific woman, but she's not here. It's for the best, he thinks. She may have been a nurse during wartimes, but he doesn't want her to go through that again.

The white dome is also new to him, but then Cinnabar seems to keep to themselves. There's so little Val actually knows about the person his life is tied to- but they haven't seemed interested in him either.

He watches the mercury puddle shift. It's probably the reason they keep so much distance between themselves and others.

[ there are flashes of something, then, briefly interwoven with the image of the building - arms, legs, a perfectly round eye made of pearl, all disconnected from their body, laying in a golden ooze that seems a perfect mirror to Cinnabar's. Their face twitches in their sleep; then, all at once, they snap awake with a gasp, pushing themself up with one arm --

and seeing someone looming over them. Instinctively, they grimace, face pinching into a snarl, and the mercury around them flings itself at him with surprising speed. ]

[Immediately Val unsheathed his sword in retaliation. There's not much he can do against liquid, but the instinct is so ingrained into him.

Stand down.]

I mean you no harm.

[globs]

[ fortunately, they're not going to do much more than leave little grease smudges where they hit him. Their eyes widen in realization as their brain catches up and recognizes the person in front of them, and they jerk back. ]

I'm -- w-what are you doing here?

[omegathree]

[The sword gets a shake and then sheathed.]

I wanted to speak to you. However, you seemed tired and I didn't wish to wake you prematurely.

[globs]

Wake me?

[ they blink - then, all at once, the pieces click into place. They fell asleep outside like a fool. Cinnabar groans under their breath, annoyed with themself, then shifts into a sitting position. ]

How long have I been asleep here?

[omegathree]

I only came across you ten minutes ago. Before that, I cannot answer.

[globs]

[ well, they hope it wasn't much longer than that. They don't look enthused, but they let the matter go for the time being, pushing some crystalline hair out of their face. ]

... So? What did you want with me?

[omegathree]

[He adjusts himself so he's standing straighter.]

I'm here to extend an apology for all of the emotions I put you through last week. Particularly in regards to the trial.

[I was cursed, but that's hardly an excuse..]

[globs]

[ at least he apologized. ]

It's fine. You were cursed, right? It's not like you could do anything about it.

[ I said all those embarrassing things about Milla back then, so I get it... ]

[omegathree]

Unfortunately. It's... quite upsetting having your feelings out of control that way.

I can usually control myself better than that.

[Hunk of Burning Love is an annoying ability.]

[globs]

... Can you?

[ This guy seems like the type who doesn't hold anything back. ]

[omegathree]

When it comes to matters of the heart.

[In some ways I don't hold back, but not when it comes to those feelings.]

[globs]

Hold on. I didn't say anything about holding back. Why'd you say that?

[ not realizing they're hearing it in their head. ]

[omegathree]

... You didn't?

[He also hasn't noticed.]

[globs]

I didn't. Are you losing your mind?

[ Is the stress getting to me? It'll put him in trouble if I can't think straight... ]

[omegathree]

No, I'm in full control of my mind at the moment. No one has cursed me as far as I'm aware.

[ I don't want to become more difficult to work with than I've already been. ]

[globs]

You just did it again. Something about being hard to work with.

Is this another partner connection side-effect? Like last week?

[globs]

Ugh...

[ they pinch the bridge of their nose, looking annoyed. ]

So what? We're hearing each others' thoughts now?

[ That's really embarrassing... Now he'll think I'm really pathetic. ]

[I'm not used to sharing those...]

[globs]

S-stop it! You don't have to listen to them, that's -- it's rude.

[ Cinnabar, hypocritically, is also rude, and so, they quickly start gathering their things mid-conversation, turning away from him. ]
