week four: mingle

Week Four
22 in Competition

As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"We've been asked to open another gateway for you guys, but...it's funny. It sort of feels like things have calmed down. The corruption's temporarily evened out and the universe is stabilized for now, but that doesn't mean we should stop looking. Take a look and see what you can find on the other side. You might even get to learn something new."

When Sol finishes, they turn to face Lune, allowing for the other to speak for themselves.

"A bit of reprieve of welcome, isn't it? Please take this time to recover, even as you make steps forward to continue your good work. Thank you, thank you."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will be able to hear each other's thoughts whenever they look at one another! They may not hear every single thought that occurs, but the link will partners to hear thoughts as though their partner is speaking out loud. The more private the thought, the more likely the partner will pick up on it.

Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, this is break week! This means no murders and no trial! Your normal schedule will resume next week. We will still be hosting a laid-back mini-event on Tuesday, however.

In addition, ensure that all of your week three private conversations were reported on the page, and your week four private conversations are reported on that page. If you'll be taking anything from locations, please report that as well.

[she's whiRLING BACK AROUND]

Do you see this - I can see this!!

[SHE'S SO ALARMED SHE'S NOT MAKING SENSE]

[he's SO CONFUSED??]

Your eye is back??
coastal: (✧ that's strange)

[personal profile] coastal 2019-07-04 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
[SHE'S JUST AS CONFUSED]

I know?!

How - Who...?!
omegathree: (34)

[personal profile] omegathree 2019-07-04 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
[He doesn't lean in, but he does look at the scar and her eye.]

I don't know. Is it working just as before?
coastal: (✧ sudden plot twist)

[personal profile] coastal 2019-07-05 04:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I think so...

[she's waving her hand in front of her eye, following its movements. it really feels as good as new]

It's so strange...
omegathree: (39)

[personal profile] omegathree 2019-07-05 05:20 pm (UTC)(link)
It is. I've never heard of a case where an eye spontaneously regenerated.

[But then again, they've all appeared in an empty universe. Strange seems to be the way of things.]
coastal: (✧ WHY THIS)

[personal profile] coastal 2019-07-07 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Neither have I - I know that those two can heal injuries, but isn't this a bit much?!

[shE'S SO CONFUSED]

[personal profile] omegathree 2019-07-07 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm... It is a lot. Still, I suppose this is where people say... "be grateful for miracles"?
coastal: (✧ indignant pout)

[personal profile] coastal 2019-07-10 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
How can I be grateful when I don't know who did this for me...
omegathree: (11)

[personal profile] omegathree 2019-07-10 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
Hm... You could talk to Sol or Lune. They may have an answer to that question.
coastal: (✧ so this was a bad idea)

[personal profile] coastal 2019-07-10 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
[ugh]

Those two? I have to have better options than that.
coastal: (✧ quietly says rude shit)

[personal profile] coastal 2019-07-10 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
There has to be something...

If I could figure out what they had to do in order to give it to me - ahh, I wonder if someone did something embarrassing recently...
omegathree: (34)

[personal profile] omegathree 2019-07-10 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
There's a high chance someone's done something embarrassing, but not necessarily for any reason.

[Minato is still here, after all.]
coastal: (✧ hmph! what a nerd)

[personal profile] coastal 2019-07-10 03:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Last time I completed a task in order to heal an injury, it was pretty embarrassing... but that might've just been Sol being rude to me.
omegathree: (15)

[personal profile] omegathree 2019-07-10 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
[He thinks about this.]

I don't think he's ever been rude.
coastal: (✧ woooow you're cute huh)

[personal profile] coastal 2019-07-10 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
My experiences with people differ.
omegathree: (11)

[personal profile] omegathree 2019-07-10 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
They are people. They can run the gamut of politeness to rudeness depending on how you interact with them.
coastal: (✧ that's strange)

[personal profile] coastal 2019-07-11 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
Is it your specialty to say obvious things?
omegathree: (11)

[personal profile] omegathree 2019-07-11 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
I think Fenrich would say my specialty is not having the capacity to doubt people.
coastal: (✧ dumbass)

[personal profile] coastal 2019-07-11 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
You should probably work on that.

People have proven that they're very fond of lying here.
omegathree: (11)

[personal profile] omegathree 2019-07-11 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
Some of them, yes.

[Shirasu. Hisoka.]

Though for the corrupted, do you count it as lying when they're unaware of themselves?
