As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Lune who speaks up first this time.

"Good morning, good morning. You've done well to purge the corruption in the previous gateway - allow us to assist with the finishing touches. For the time being, it would appear as though we've been able to locate another. I would not grow complacent, but I also wonder if you all might enjoy the surprise."

When Lune finishes, Sol chimes in from their place at Lune's side.

"Maybe we can have another week like the last. It'd be nice, wouldn't it? Good luck out there."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will begin to see odd mirages and hear voices calling for them. Even though they might not realize it, these phantoms that will be haunting them will be their partner's most important person, calling for them to come home. Partners will only be able to see each other's illusions if they make physical contact.

[To get their blind spots, at least.]

That... might be a good idea, yeah. Hold on, you’ve got a fair bit stuck around your hair tie.

[She solves that problem easily enough by reaching up to remove the accessory entirely, shaking her head slightly to let her hair loose. There's probably a small shower of glitter and confetti happening as she does.]

Better? At least mine isn't that thick.

absolutely not

[stillstands]

Much better. Although hold on—

[ She reaches up and brushes out one or two stray pieces of confetti. Not much she can do about the glitter, but it’s the small victories that count. ]

There.

Your hair looks nice down — do you not like wearing it that way?

[foodbin]

I'm just not used to it.

[As she moves to brush some glitter out of Miki's hair:]

I used to work in a coffee shop, and we served food. I couldn't exactly wear my hair down.

[stillstands]

[ emma should have an easier time of removing the glitter than miki did tbh. ]

Well... you're not in a coffee shop now? You could try it sometimes.

[foodbin]

I guess so, yeah.

[She smiles.]

You're pretty interested in how I wear my hair.

[stillstands]

It’s not like I can do a whole lot with mine.

[ It’s grown out slightly since coming here because, y’know. No regular trims. But it’s still very short. ]

And ... well. If you don’t have a reason to keep it up all the time, it might be nice to do something different. That’s all.

[foodbin]

[Thoughtfully:]

I bet it would look nice if you grew it out.

[stillstands]

Hmm...

[ She tugs at one of her locks. ]

It'd get in the way too much, I think.

[foodbin]

You could just pull it back, you know.

[stillstands]

Yes, but... I probably wouldn't know what to do with it. It's nice to see on other people though.

[foodbin]

Maybe someday.

[A small laugh.]

Gotta say, didn't take you as the kind of person interested in different hairstyles.

[stillstands]

I'm not really, but... it did get me wondering. Two of my senpai have long hair and while it does seem to get in the way -- [ Literally, Kurumi has to loop her pigtails so they don't get grabbed or caught while taking out zombies. ] -- it looks nice.
