week seven: mingle
Week Seven
13 in Competition
13 in Competition
As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.
Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.
As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.
"Morning. As usual, you guys were a big help in purging the darkness that lingered in the gateway from last week. We'll take it from here." There's a pause. "...we've got a new one for you, but there's something really weird about it. It's even larger than the last, so be careful when you're out there."
When Sol finishes, Lune picks up where they left off.
"Would it be odd to say that I believe you are all doing well? Your growth has been admirable.... Have heart as you continue to move forward."
The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.
In addition, as the week goes on, everyone will find that somewhere on their person, a small word is printed displaying their most prominent trait. Though they may not agree, or even realize it, this is a trait that most strongly defines them and over the week this trait will slowly become amplified.

Welcome to your week seven mingle! As a reminder, murder proposals are open. We will also have a mini-event this week on Tuesday at 12pm PST. Of note, this mini-event will be different, so please stay tuned for more info!
In addition, ensure that all of your week six private conversations were reported on the page. If you'll be taking anything from locations, please report that as well.

it's ya girl liki
lili walks through the portal, sans hair clip. still. she tries to toss her hair over her shoulder again though, because a girl can't be stopped. she crosses her arms and looks back and forth]
So we really can't say anything about how—
[and then she glitches. she glitches hard.
her words become jumbled, her image becomes distorted in blocks and shapes, and only a second later does she stop and look startled - ]
Okay, okay, I get it!!
[is it any wonder she doesn't know what a character limit it]
no subject
but more importantly: ]
I just sent your hairpin.
no subject
[got taken by the shark.

Maybe you'll get it when you have to leave again.
no subject
[ . . . ]
It’s fine if I don’t - it’s just a hairpin.
[ . . .

she’s so happy to see him, alive and well. he’s still on this side and no matter how much she misses him, she doesn’t want to see him again too soon considering what it would mean.
on the other -
she’s going to try to reach out and strangle him as soon as she sees him]
