Week Seven

As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"Morning. As usual, you guys were a big help in purging the darkness that lingered in the gateway from last week. We'll take it from here." There's a pause. "...we've got a new one for you, but there's something really weird about it. It's even larger than the last, so be careful when you're out there."

When Sol finishes, Lune picks up where they left off.

"Would it be odd to say that I believe you are all doing well? Your growth has been admirable.... Have heart as you continue to move forward."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, everyone will find that somewhere on their person, a small word is printed displaying their most prominent trait. Though they may not agree, or even realize it, this is a trait that most strongly defines them and over the week this trait will slowly become amplified.

tankmon, meanwhile, is barreling down towards them so they'll have to try to nyoom to not get hit by any shots. ]

[thankfully, shess is also very quick on his feet as he nyooms around the other side, as he also thinks about how if tsuru somehow gets hurt here, kara is going to kill one of them...]

[ it'll be shess because he can't kill tsuru

but tankmon seems to notice that they're trying to slip past?? it tries to turn, but at least it's large enough that it's not a very fast turn ]

as shess runs, he glances back over his shoulder—trying to get past is still the ideal option, but if they can't get far away enough once it's properly facing them again, they're probably going to have to do something about it.]

but at shess' words, tsuru immediately just starts running to the digimon. tankmom, meanwhile, has now turned around, so that's cool

shess starts running in a different direction from tsuru, and ig lasers are now being fired, but it's fine.]

[ thanks shess, you're a pal, especially since the lasers are definitely getting aimed towards him

meanwhile tsuru is scooping up the adorable round baby. ]

he holds the baby up so shess can see that it's uninjured. ]

Babies usually are.

They're very fragile. This must be a frightening experience for them.

[ this is why tsuru and shess are the only ones on the chart who are nice to babies apparently ]

They have a very limited way of expressing that fear as well.

But they should be fine once we reunite them with their parent.

[ it gets a nice head pat. ]

Let's look around for any other ones. Hopefully we won't run into another one of those...

[ he glances in the direction tankmon is ]

Hopefully... how well can you run holding onto it, if that happens?

[ he glances at the baby and his expression softens ]

Maybe they'll be more inclined to come to us if they see a familiar face...

[ he's sure it'll be less scary than being approached by two strangers ]
