Week Eight

As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find three large, swirling masses grey in color looming near the sakura tree. These swirls cannot be approached just yet, but seem to be locked and waiting for something more. Later in the day, if those in the village approach the third mass they will find themselves in a version of their home world. This world is completely void of people, but seems to be just as they last remember it. No darkness will be found in this world as well.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. They don't speak immediately, but wait for all to settle.

[ he knows what it's like to feel nostalgic to messed up places but this is a bit much ]

We weren't always confined to this realm, but yes, it's been like this since the beginning.

Confined, huh? ... Kinda reminds me of someplace. [ he pauses and coughs ] Except the atmosphere. That part is worse. [ GO BACK ALREADY? ] Guessing you guys aren't affected by that?

Well, to an extent, we all are... though some are worse off than others. For the most part, my clan is fine.

What's the difference? Between yours and the others.

Physiology. For instance, one clan is especially vulnerable to poison, and being aquatic in nature, the lack of an ocean in the sura realm weakens them even further.

Meanwhile, the clan of snakes, unsurprisingly, takes no issue with the poison in the air.

[ he does look genuinely interested, but-- ]

[he gestures to his horns. except they're hidden by his cat hat, so it looks more like he's gesturing to his cat ears instead.]

[ ... he reaches out and pokes Shess's hat on his cat ears and-- ]

It was. Then again, I guess no one's had a reason to read those in weeks.
