On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

I can't tell where it's coming from! Every time I head in one direction, it's like it either switches or it's just all around somehow. What do you think it is?

[ she isn't sure how all of the magic here works ]

[Toki feels incredibly stupid for not considering that.]

It... probably is.

How far does it go? Like if you go one way, and I go in the other direction, will there be a point where we don't hear it anymore? Because I didn't hear all day, so maybe it's like confined to one area and then the source would have to be inside the area!

[It's just really annoying music.]

We could try that, and then meet back here?

[ it might be nothing, honestly, but if there is even the smallest chance that they can stumble upon something useful then...

well, they should take the chance. ]

Okay!

[Walking in the same direction for ten minutes yields absolutely no change in the perception of the music. He gives up at that point and returns to where they started to wait for Naminé. Maybe she had better luck.]

I couldn't find any hint of a source.

What do you think of this place so far?

It's... I'm not sure if interesting is the right word. But I guess my opinion is slightly different after seeing those two.

[ she means lune and sol ]

The ones with the hoods? I don't think they're in charge! At the meeting, Lune told me they couldn't leave...

Mm. There's still a lot of questions, but at least some things were cleared up...

[ like why they're here, even if it's still a lot of vagueness. ]

Perhaps we should all try to meet up and discuss things as a group soon?

Ah... well, I'll try. Maybe once everyone's more settled and tempers have lessened a bit.

Everyone has been nice so far, I think, so hopefully it won't go too badly...

[ she thinks since she hasn't spoken to everyone yet and doesn't know the others well enough to really judge ]

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

[He's of the same opinion though, as he has also yet to meet anyone who isn't nice.]

[ it may be a problem if it takes them too long to work together. ]
