On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

You seem like a perfectionist type.

[that's her way of saying this will probably be fine??

but lili will guide her a little closer out - but not yet in the center because she doesn't want to bump into anyone]

If you're doing to do something you might as well try to do it well! What's the point otherwise?

... well it's not like I disagree...

[but she'll listen to the music and then demonstrate the steps to miki, standing next to her so they're facing the same way - ]

[ She's looking very closely at Lili's feet and slowly starts to move around in step with her. She's a bit uncertain and wobbly, but she's doing her best. ]

[ Miki kinda stands bolt upright, pushing her shoulders back. ]

R-right. It's kinda hard to move like this though.

No, but you said to straighten up and not look at my feet!

[ so this is. exactly what she's doing. to the max!!! ]

That's too much - now you're too stiff!

[stillstands]

This is way too much to think about for something like this.

[coastal]

It's only because you haven't done it before.

You can't expect to be immediately good at everything, even if you strive for the best that you can each time.

[stillstands]

I know that. But... dancing's not something I've seen as especially important.

[ just as blunt ]

If it's something important to you, then that's fine. But to me, I don't think I'll do this too often.

[coastal]

You agreed to do it - so you might as well learn to do it correctly in case you're ever pulled into it again.

Explain the right posture to me, it might help me get it quicker.
