On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

[ she lifts up a strand of her hair ]

[ because she didn't know how to dress herself actually but still ]

I don't think your hair color is what he was disappointed in. The kid's really into clothes.

[ he did say something like that ]

[ that is as good a yes as he is gonna get from namine, so. he might as well offer: ]

D'you wanna dance?

Can you dance?

[ it's said in a light, teasing tone ]

Probably better than you.

[ he is aware that means Nothing considering, but, he had to? ]

[ she sounds DETERMINED ]

[ oh my god? he grins a bit before holding out a hand to invite her to dance ]

Then I guess we'll just have to see, won't we?

[ she'll take his hand

the height difference is funny ]

[ the height difference is HILARIOUS, he leads her to the dance floor proper ]

You might hafta; anyone ever tell you you're kinda short?

[ she glances up at him, frowning slightly ]

I think you're just too tall.

[leaberator]

No, I'm just permanently surrounded by shrimps.

[ he's wilfully ignoring like the entire organization? anyway he starts off the dance easy enough, and it looks Real Dumb ]

[whitewalls]

[ it looks very dumb

but she easily follows along, no matter how stupid they look, because she's just happy that they're doing this ]

If there's more of us than you, then I think you're the odd one...

[leaberator]

Hmm... You're still short, but I guess you've kinda got a point there. The truth is, I'm only this tall to make sure I stand out. Got it memorized?

[ and to punctuate his terrible joke he makes her do a little twirl, because he's a dumb nerd. ]

[whitewalls]

[ she's going to respond, but the twirl is unexpected and surprises her into a laugh instead ]

Naminé. Somethin' the matter?

[whitewalls]

[ it's said with a small laugh, and also mumbled, like she doesn't mean for him to hear
