On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

A shame. Look. [He gives the glass a bit of a shake so it wiggles.] It bounces.

[so she doesn't entirely hate it and will probably keep idly eating it

but she's also going to walk away from hisoka as if looking for another food

like that was all she needed from him]

That's okay. He lets her walk away for other food. She's still eating his spiked concoction.





Because he'll just come wandering idly back a little bit later to see how she's doing. :)]

she found food that she likes

in particular, a seafood stew. the problem at hand is that she was too nervous to eat it because she doesn't trust anything not prepared right in front of her eyes or offered to her by someone she doesn't hate

so.

when she finds hisoka, she'll just point at him]

[i can't imagine why hisoka would want tipsy lili because her normal personality is already so much]

[Oh. Well, he would say that's rude, but also, whatever. It's entertaining, and he isn't afraid of any of the food. Not because he thinks it isn't poisoned or anything, just he... is that arrogant.]

Please.

[It won't matter. He takes up a spoon and tries some of the stew. After a moment, he suddenly looks very shocked, and he reaches up to his throat. He makes a soft choking kind of gurgle.]

[god i hate you

because lili is looking UNFORTUNATELY VERY ALARMED AT THAT, IMMEDIATELY DROPPING THE SOUP BECAUSE IT'S POISONED AND REACHING OUT TO HISOKA'S ARM]

Ah - I'm sorry! I didn't mean—

[FRANTICALLY LOOKING AROUND]

A doctor, please!!

[He gives it a handful of seconds, and then the choking turns into snickering. His face planes into something amused but absolutely fine.] Just kidding. [He takes her reaching hand and pulls it around behind his back so she comes closer.]

Worried about me, or scared you’ll be accused of murder?

[she's SCOWLING but there hasn't been nearly enough time for her face to turn less red and embarrassed even as she tries to take her hand back]

Let go of me! That wasn't funny at all, you idiot!!

[shE'S BEEN PLAYED]

[He doesn't let go; his grip and strength is powerful, but he has enough grace to make it seem like there really isn't much of a struggle, even with her pulling. He doesn't budge.

His other hand tucks between them and slides up to wrap the fingers around her throat. There's no squeezing, just a simple, threatening grip.]

Your face is so red... [Ugh... The look. It's so good. So very, very good. Red and angry, and he loves it.] I wonder if it looks this good when all the air inside you is used up...

[well.

she's not going to stop pulling, because doing that would mean that he wins. and there's no way that lili's pride will accept that. the embarrassment starts to fade - switching only into irritation and anger. when there are fingers around her throat - her heart beats a little harder just once, remembering something from the past

but what comes out of her mouth is scathing]

Ugh, can you shut up?

[SHE'S SO MAD]

And don't look at my face, you pervert!

[The exhale he gives is very low and long, but steady. The fingers at her throat quiver, like they want to crush what's in the palm somewhere under all the restraint.]

Yes... Keep looking at me with those eyes. If you weren't so fun, I would keep them.

[An expression of utmost euphoria has relaxed his face, half-lidded his eyes. It's definitely the face you make in the heat of the moment, or something like it, a little jarring to see here.

Still holding her under the jaws, he passes his nailed thumb across the front of her chin.]

If I keep going...

[Very suddenly, he lets her go while she's pulling, releasing her trapped arm and her face and neck. His breathing is labored? Weird.]

[it just makes her angrier, unfortunately.

there was once upon a time where she'd be scared, but that seems to have disappeared. instead it's just frustration at not being able to pull herself free, and a very intense, fiery anger. she'd been doing at better at keeping her powers in check - but now the air around them grows cold with the intensity of her emotions

she stumbles back - but doesn't fall, if only because she refuses to fall in front of this creep?]

You're the worst kind of person.

[HER SEAFOOD STEW IS STILL GONE, HISOKA]

[The chill tingles him to his very core. It's not really something he should have felt when he's so riled up, but alas. Something hungry and thirsty settles in the golden eyes peering out from the lashes and the red fringe.

He stares at her blatantly, not blinking very much if at all. The edges of his lips are curled up, but he has to bite them softly between his teeth in restraint.]

Show me another time... when I can really let go. ♦

[she's not sure what he means by that but she can guess

and unfortunately it just makes her angrier? ugh. she hates feeling played with, and it shows plainly on her face. whatever tipsiness might've made lili easier to handle is now just fuel for her stubbornness]

Nothing will change how distasteful I find you.

I can assure you of that much.

[SHE'LL HATE YOU ANYTIME ANYWHERE, DAMN CLOWN]

I don't mind.

[The squeezed fist unfurls, and he motions with the barely quivering hand toward the table.] Mind the poison. [His arm drops, and he turns, glancing over his shoulder.

She gets an appraising once-over.]

[she can probably still hate him more, yea. but not by much.

regardless when he looks back at her, she'll be glaring at him for a moment longer before huffing and flipping her hair over her shoulder haughtily and then walking away

SHE HAS TO FIND ANOTHER BOWL FOR STEW 2.0]
