On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

[ her face goes red at the compliment because. what even is flirting, she doesn't know

but she'll still take his hand anyway. ]

[She's even cuter when she blushes. He leads her out to wherever the dancing is.]

Have you decided when to gather everyone together?

[It probably hasn't been long enough for everyone to calm down, but you never know.]

[whitewalls]

Maybe this weekend? It'll at least be a week since we've been here by then.

[ this will be funny because technically they will all gather together this weekend

they just don't know it yet ]

[yokeye]

That sounds good!

[Plans that will never come to fruition.]

[whitewalls]

It'll probably be easier to just put up signs instead of trying to find everyone to tell individually.

[ and they can just put it at all of the buildings, so everyone can see them. ]

[yokeye]

That's a good point! I didn't read all of the scrolls, and we'd probably miss somebody!

[He's not sure how many people are actually here. He should maybe pay more attention.]

Mm. It seems like there's around thirty of us? Maybe a little more...

[ she shakes her head. ]

Well, we can figure it out.

[yokeye]

Yeah.

[Toki nods. They don't really have to worry about it right now. Tonight is for fun.]

[whitewalls]

Do you know how to dance?

[ people seem to either do or either don't ]

[yokeye]

I do!

[He places one hand on Naminé's waist and takes her hand. He might not dance well, but he's not going to step on her feet or anything.]

[whitewalls]

Then lead away.

[ ..... because she doesn't know how and has just been getting the gist of it tonight ]

[yokeye]

[He will attempt to do so, sticking with simple steps and nothing too elaborate.]

Have you gone to parties like this before...?

[ a lot of people she's spoken to so far said they haven't ]

[yokeye]

No, not like this! Just a school dance or two!

[This place had much better food than those events.]

[whitewalls]

What are those like?

[ she has. never been to school before. ]

[yokeye]

Kind of like this, only it's all kids and there's a big bowl of punch and some chips or something instead of all this food!

[They're not really that fun.]

[whitewalls]

Oh...

[ she's trying to imagine it. ]

I'm glad I got to experience this instead then.

[yokeye]

Are you having a good time? I'm not boring you, right?

[She's adorable and sweet and could be spending her time with more interesting people.]

[whitewalls]

You're not! I've never done anything like this before, so it's all been a good time.

[ it feels normal, despite the abnormal circumstances. ]

[And now that he's a little more confident in dancing with her, he's going to go for... the dip. Hopefully, she wont fall.]

[ she lets out a small squeaking sound from surprise, and it turns into a laugh. naminé holds onto his arm though, to make sure she doesn't slip and hit the ground.

[A good idea on her part, because he's never done that before.]

You're so graceful in the face of uncertainty!

I'm not sure if I'd call it graceful.

[ but she'd appreciate the comment nonetheless. ]
