On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

No, but... when I think of fancy clothes, they're the first thing that comes to mind.

Well...the princesses where I'm from usually have pretty dresses with flowy skirts and lots of detailing. [He's met one or two, it's fine.] Is purple your favorite color? [Purple flowers, now a purple and pink outfit.]

Mm. It's really common for seashells to be purple, or close to it. I collect them.

Seashells? [What a funny thing to collect, but it's kind of cute. Sure.] I didn't look at the beach for long enough, but you might find some there. [He's paying attention to the task at hand, coming up with some of the fluffiest and most purple dresses he can find.

Aside from that, he's also picking a few with smaller skirts and some detailing at the top. They're all some combination of purple and black or purple and white.]

...the black would go nicely with your hair, I think. And you could probably put another flower in it.

[ she perks up at the idea of collecting shells in the water domain... but right now, kaoru's picks manage to hold her interest more. she lets out a little gasp as her eyes widen. ]

Those are all so pretty... do you really think they'd look nice on me?

[ please help her... have a normal sense of self-esteem... i'm begging you ]

Of course they will. My judgment's never wrong on this sort of thing. [Can someone save Xion because it's probably not going to be Kaoru. Instead, he's shoving the dresses into her arms and practically pushing her to a changing screen in the back of the boutique. He already did this once with Naminé, he'll do it with her, too.]

[The worst part is that he'd help because Kaoru's scroll does, in fact, say he's great at ignoring personal boundaries. On the other hand he's just going to let her figure it out herself.]

Don't worry about the sizing. It should fit fine.
