On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

[ It's very rare that somebody is in agreement with Minato that the best way to deal is to just go to bed and sleep, but he can tell Lune means for them to rest, not use it as a means of escape. Minato's never had trouble falling asleep, but rest can still be hard. ]

Tomorrow, huh...? I wonder if people would even leave their houses again, after this...

[ He looks around for Kazuaki in particular, who he suspects wouldn't even be here if it weren't for that compulsion that'd pulled everybody into the hall. ]

[ . . . it's a good question. lune will pause at that thoughtfully]

Do you think those here are the type to live in fear? Some, perhaps, would understandably wish to find shelter...

Though perhaps these are the times in which the adept may lend their hand to the less skilled as well.

[ Given the choice, most people place the safety and wellbeing of themselves and their loved one above all else. It isn't exactly fear, but... what's normal and expected, nothing to be thought any less about if one were to choose to stay in bed for the rest of the day.

Minato manages a little smile. ]

We're all adept in our own ways, and we'll help each other. You too, if you ever need somebody to listen, or talk to. We'll be fine. [ a hope, more than a belief, but they're about the same thing ]

Mm, certainly we will. [there is a gaze over at the coffin that is still too plainly in view] .... all will be well, if only in time.

[however time might heal whatever wounds they have already sustained

but regardless lune will look back over to minato, voice warmer than all they'd been saying before]

... your calm and open heart aids people more than you know.

[ Minato opens his mouth to speak, but no thoughts come to mind and no words from his throat, so he lets himself fall silent again, a brief smile and a nod, neither of which lasts long. More than he knows is more than zero, after all, and if that one person could be Lune, that's enough for him. ]

...I hope so.

[ is what he manages, in the end, because he doesn't know how to be any other way. ]

[and lune will reach up a hand just to allow it to rest on minato's head, a gentle little headpat, before pulling that hand back again]
