On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

so when they get there he immediately goes to offer the first one he sees a friendly pat ]

[ this is a terrible name and he doesn't even know if it fits this horse but it sounds nice?? ]

then looks at the horse

does the horse approve? ]

[ it's a pretty peaceful horse, happily enjoying the pats

so kara is going to take that as approval ]

Shuuunsokuuuu.

That's a good name for a horse. Probably.

[ he assumes ]

[ instead of answering, he keeps petting shunsoku and looks at the next horse over ]

What about that one?

Doesn't he look like Hasebe?

[ he has to stifle a snort ]

Hasebe would hate that.

[ kara thinks it's pretty funny, though? they should go with that. ]

[ hasebe is annoying so he kind of deserves it and kara isn't even going to try to stop this ]

Do you think they'd like Hanatarou?

Someone had to put them here, though. They wouldn't just leave them once we leave.

Then maybe it will put them back from wherever it got them.

[ look he doesn't know how this works and he's too drunk to try to understand it right now ]

[ he looks at the horses ]

Where are you from...

[ they somehow don't give him the answer ]

[ kara watches them for a minute, waiting

then he turns back to tsuru with a disappointed expression ]

They don't talk, like the other one.

Maybe he's a special horse...?

[ a horse warrior..... ]

He must be. None of the others horns or wings, either.

[ it's weird... but he's still a good horse. ]

I wonder if these ones are jealous? Or if they look up to him?

[ swift wind is the alpha horse ]
