As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"We've been asked to open another gateway for you guys, but...it's funny. It sort of feels like things have calmed down. The corruption's temporarily evened out and the universe is stabilized for now, but that doesn't mean we should stop looking. Take a look and see what you can find on the other side. You might even get to learn something new."

When Sol finishes, they turn to face Lune, allowing for the other to speak for themselves.

"A bit of reprieve of welcome, isn't it? Please take this time to recover, even as you make steps forward to continue your good work. Thank you, thank you."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will be able to hear each other's thoughts whenever they look at one another! They may not hear every single thought that occurs, but the link will partners to hear thoughts as though their partner is speaking out loud. The more private the thought, the more likely the partner will pick up on it.



Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, this is break week! This means no murders and no trial! Your normal schedule will resume next week. We will still be hosting a laid-back mini-event on Tuesday, however.

hot springs party that's it, that's the top-level.

[after a day of exploring the new location, it's time to relax. which means that's how lili is going to let every single person in the village who is Not A Man know that they're invited for a trip to the hot springs, and then expect the word of mouth to travel afterward. the entrance to the hot springs has a clear sign that says No Men Allowed because subtlety? not lili's best quality.

she somehow managed to wheel an entire rack of yukata from the boutique to the hot springs along with a selection of towels and other products to be used for relaxation! luxury! rich girls know how to party!

and also there's snacks. lots of snacks

it's not like lili was looking forward to this or anything.

[It's nice to be included in group activities. Being told there'd be a hot springs party left Grim Eyes rather flattered, so she goes to the hot springs at the right time.

The sight of yukatas kind of gave her the wrong idea, though. Maybe those were something humans used while in a hot springs, she supposed. She sure didn't want to offend the host of this party, so she took a yukata and put it on, just to go soak in the hot springs while wearing the yukata.

So yeah, there's a hyena wearing a yukata and submerged in the hot springs. Grim Eyes looks very relaxed, though!]

Lili hadn't made it into the hot springs herself, so her yukata is still dry as she's eating some of the snacks but.]

... well, as long as you're enjoying yourself.

Have you been to a hot springs before?

Sure, a couple times. Never with humans, though.

[But hey, when you're invited to a community's celebrations and events, you do what that community does. It's courtesy]

These are pretty good ones. I may not like what's going on in this core of the universe place, but at least they do have good stuff.

[ Four doesn't know if yukata should be worn into the hot springs or not, but she can't hide... that it makes for an interesting combination on Grim Eyes. ]

... Do you think the reprieve will last?

[liversandhyenas]

Hardly. This peace can't last for long, I'm sure of it. [She sinks a little more into the hot springs] Which is why we should enjoy this as much as we can. We may not get another chance again.

[ ... she opens the door, but like. hesitantly? because technically this is not her house?? ]

[ Miki has absolutely made a home for herself on the edge of the pool, towel wrapped tightly around her, with his legs dangling into the hot water.

The snacks are nearby too. Priorities. ]

... Ahh. [ It's just. A happy sigh. ] I haven't been here since we arrived, and now I think that was a stupid thing to do.

I can't imagine dealing with all the stupidity that we do without being able to pay a visit to the hot springs...

[Lili's already in the water? she's opted for a towel like everyone else, even though normally she doesn't care]

I usually just go to the library.

I didn’t really think much about coming here before, but this is nice.

Wrapped in a thin towel, torso immersed in the water and hair gathered in a large, loose bun on the top of her head, Milla is relaxing and reading a book.

"Fifty Shades Darker" at least has a pretty innocent cover, all things considered.]

[ Curious and more curious. If Milla is here, who's watching Shirasu? She's not going to worry about it.

But reading is something that Four approves of, so she has to ask: ]

that is, lurking outside the entrance to the hot springs and looking in shyly, not sure if they belong. ]

[well here's lili, all dressed up in a yukata -

and she'll be approaching to press her hands on cinnabar's back and gently push them closer in]

[Grim Eyes looks a tad more cheerful than usual. It's because of the hot springs, pretty much. Being relaxed does wonders do your mood]

[ xion's not nearly as hands on as the other partygoers, but even though she looked like a sad puppy when she first arrived at the springs, the water seems to have warmed her up both literally and in terms of her mood.

she's out of the water and wearing her flowery yukata to get snacks when she spots that ronck. ]

[ Akane is here, but she's sitting by herself, weirdly far from everyone else. She's pretty sure no one wants her here, but came anyway?? Okay.

She has her legs in the water and she's kicking her legs slowly. And she's opted for a bikini instead of a towel, for convenience! ]

lili's been avoiding her but

some part of her is making her feel like. she has to be a hostess? she's so bad at hiding her feelings though....

instead she'll bring the tray of snacks closer]

[ Four has probably not experienced hot springs her entire life for one reason or another, so she copies what everyone else is doing? Towel, swimsuit, et al. She's shy and embarrassed even if it's ladies only, so she immerses herself in the water when she can, lowering herself until only her head is above the water.

She's going to get overheated sooner rather than later. ]
