As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"We've been asked to open another gateway for you guys, but...it's funny. It sort of feels like things have calmed down. The corruption's temporarily evened out and the universe is stabilized for now, but that doesn't mean we should stop looking. Take a look and see what you can find on the other side. You might even get to learn something new."

When Sol finishes, they turn to face Lune, allowing for the other to speak for themselves.

"A bit of reprieve of welcome, isn't it? Please take this time to recover, even as you make steps forward to continue your good work. Thank you, thank you."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will be able to hear each other's thoughts whenever they look at one another! They may not hear every single thought that occurs, but the link will partners to hear thoughts as though their partner is speaking out loud. The more private the thought, the more likely the partner will pick up on it.



Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, this is break week! This means no murders and no trial! Your normal schedule will resume next week. We will still be hosting a laid-back mini-event on Tuesday, however.

In addition, ensure that all of your week three private conversations were reported on the page, and your week four private conversations are reported on that page. If you'll be taking anything from locations, please report that as well.

It's not really a host club if it's just me! [Jeez. But he's still pulling her along.] Didn't we say we needed to give people a chance to talk to one another and ask questions? This is the best setting to do that, you just have to be set up with the right person.

[And he's pulling out a chair for her, pushing her shoulders down so she'll have a seat.] Ice cream cake's on the menu. So's cheesecake. And a really good variety of tea and coffee.

[stillstands]

... [ God that is such an excuse?? ] I thought we'd said about not making it seem like an interrogation? Wai--

[ Oof. Ow. That's not how you should treat customers?? ] ... [ She just stares at him, looking something between frustrated and maybe? The tiniest bit amused? She really was just trying to explore under her own steam... ]

Are you playing waiter as well?

It's not an interrogation if you're sharing tea and cakes with another person. [There's clearly a difference? But he grins anyway.]

We provide our own snacks and teas and coffees during club hours, usually to fit with the theme for the day. They're also already usually served depending on our customer roster for the day, but I'm improvising. [And he throws in a wink.] I'm not really playing waiter. It's more like playing matchmaker.

[A bored twin with a lot of time on his hands...is maybe bad...] I think I have the perfect match for you, too.

[stillstands]

[ sTOP. ]

How did you even end up here anyway? Did you actually get hired here? [ and if so how has he not been fired?? ]

[ oh no. ] I'd rather just have a coffee and go.

I don't see anyone around to stop me do you? The outfit I tailored on my own and the rest was already here. I just had to put it into motion.

[See, if she didn't react maybe this wouldn't be as funny, and yet. She says that and he pauses, eyes narrowing playfully as he turns around and leans very close to her face. ] Is that really all? I'm hurt you don't trust me. [He's still holding a tray of goods with one hand but he's still inching closer. ] Besides, I think I know exactly what your taste is by now...

[Sorry Miki, there is a plan here but this is funnier.]

When did you get the time to tailor a waiter's outfit? [ HELLOW???

She instantly hates that she sees his point though - he fits in, and it's not like someone's going to storm in and question why drinks and cakes are being served in a cafe, even if it is a questionable cafe apparently without only one guy charging around literally dragging people off the street. ]

... ?!

[ She leans back slightly in surprise. Hello, that's her personal bubble? ] Now I'm even more concerned.

It wasn't that hard, most of it was already made. I just added some adjustments. [He had time, leave him alone. But she leans back and he doesn't follow, instead just studying her for a moment...

...before letting go and shrugging it off.] Don't be. Your date is actually a nice conversationalist. You can educate him about good literature. I hope you don't mind if the coffee is a little on the sweet side.

[That said, he's going to link her up with Valvatorez.]

You haven’t actually mentioned any names you know. Is the mystery supposed to part of the whole thing?

Sort of. Why spoil the surprise early? That doesn't sound very fun at all. [He's backing away, turning to go fetch coffee and also apparently flagging down Val because timelines.] I'll bring your drinks shortly.

[He takes a seat and nods at Miki.]

[ Ah. ]

Hello. He dragged you into this as well then?

Yes, quite literally.

[But he's amused, all things considered.]

Yeah, mine was quite literally as well.

[ She leans back in her chair a little, to properly look around the cafe now she's not being HOUNDED. ]

But this is kinda nice. More relaxing than the last couple of weeks, that's for sure.

That's... certainly true. It doesn't seem as every step you take is filled with a trap.

Just most of them.

[ Wow, cynical. ]

But we have a week of peace. Might as well just enjoy it, right?

Correct. How have you been enjoying your time so far?

I know they said the corruption calmed, but I'd like to make it to Saturday before I can rest easy.

... Yeah, it does feel a little too good to be true. I want to choose to believe what they've said though.
