As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"We've been asked to open another gateway for you guys, but...it's funny. It sort of feels like things have calmed down. The corruption's temporarily evened out and the universe is stabilized for now, but that doesn't mean we should stop looking. Take a look and see what you can find on the other side. You might even get to learn something new."

When Sol finishes, they turn to face Lune, allowing for the other to speak for themselves.

"A bit of reprieve of welcome, isn't it? Please take this time to recover, even as you make steps forward to continue your good work. Thank you, thank you."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will be able to hear each other's thoughts whenever they look at one another! They may not hear every single thought that occurs, but the link will partners to hear thoughts as though their partner is speaking out loud. The more private the thought, the more likely the partner will pick up on it.



Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, this is break week! This means no murders and no trial! Your normal schedule will resume next week. We will still be hosting a laid-back mini-event on Tuesday, however.

In addition, ensure that all of your week three private conversations were reported on the page, and your week four private conversations are reported on that page. If you'll be taking anything from locations, please report that as well.

[ Yes he can? Minato shifts a little so that he's up against the side— the whole time, he wasn't sleeping on the length of the steps anyways, he was sleeping on the stairs with the steps jutting painfully into his back and shoulders. ]

[ bold of you to imply people don't walk against the side of stairs constantly?

anyway axel watches him do this and. laughs. why is minato this way ]

Seriously? You're gonna break your back. You're not made out of jelly. Or cat.

You didn't even bring a pillow or anything.

[ I mean. Polite people stick to one side or another? Apparently that never crossed Minato's mind, though here is exactly the reason why he likes Axel so much, compared to like... Four... who yells at him and always looks upset.

Minato ...I guess either found his headband or made another one, I haven't decided what happened, but he's still wearing one! Which means he can lift a hand to his face and go ]

Nya.

[leaberator]

[ he's clearly trying not to laugh at that ]

Nope. You're not nyaing your way outta this. C'mon, Mewnato. Time to get off the stairs an' nap on a couch or something.

[ I'm glad Axel has similarly terrible taste in jokes.

But if Minato's going to channel his inner cat, he can't just listen to Axel. Both hands come up to his face and he nyas again. Cats don't listen to directions? You gotta pick up a cat to make them move, and hope they don't just trot straight back to where they were before. ]

[leaberator]

[ he stares at minyato... mewnato... i've forgotten my own joke ]

Oh, it's like that?

[ like... what... ]

[ Minyato... ]

Yeah. You know, like, nya.

[leaberator]

So nya. Alright, I get the picture.

[ he? walks off?


but he comes back maybe ten minutes later with a pillow, a blanket and

a can of tuna???? ]

C'mere, kittycat boy. You sure you don't want to at least get off the stairs?

[compendiem]

[ ...every morning when I wake up I forget Minato's not supposed to talk, but ig this just makes it easier for everybody involved. ]

.....Why was I fishing if there's cans of fish already?

[ WHY DID HE GO THROUGH ALL THAT TROUBLE LEARNING

he does not get off the stairs ]

[leaberator]

[ saved by morning card... axel tilts his head ]

I dunno, I was asking myself the same thing.

[ he never questioned Minato even once on it tho? because. that's funnier. ]

Alright, fine. Here.

[ he unceremoniously dumps the blanket and pillow on Minato before sitting down on the stairs next to burrito minyato ]

[ I hate that everybody just accepts Minato and doesn't question things, it's like there's no point because he's already beyond all hope. ]

Oh. Thanks.

[ But this is nice. Minato sits up just long enough to bunch up the blanket and stuff that and the pillow in between the steps so they'll be less pokey and more of a flat surface he can lie on top of.

Does the tuna can come with a fork or spoon? A can opener...? Or is he just supposed to hold the can and be grateful he got that much. ]

[leaberator]

[ no he questions it he just refuses to ask Minato because the end result will be funnier, ex: "why did I learn to fish"

it's one of those cans that open with a tab but yes, he does take out a fork out of his jrpg pockets to hand it over to him ]

It kinda impresses me that you even made it so far up the stairs in the first place. I thought you'd be lying down in the hall for the rest of the week!

[ he's joking. ... nah ]

[ Technology is amazing and Minato pulls the tab open, but he's also lying on his back so he can't exactly eat it without spilling half of it on his face, so he'll just hold the tuna for now. Maybe he shouldn't have opened it. ]

That was the plan... I was going to go back at night, but I don't know if I can make it.

[ He's been lying here for hours. It's hard to get anywhere when he really doesn't want to. ]

[leaberator]

Eat your tuna, Minyato.

[ he's pretty sure? it will be his only meal of the day?? so ]

"Don't know if I can make it"... This is why stairs have balusters, normally. Then you could just slide on down.

[ and probably break all his limbs more so like it's not a flawless plan but ]

[ Minato sighs and attempts to fork tuna into his mouth and spills half of it on his face but that's fine, he'll wash off in the lake after. ]

What's a baluster?

[ minato there are showers. why are you like this. also i meant to write balustrade but its not like minato would know EITHER ONE ]

Handrail thingies on stairs. The ones that are held up by big posts.

[compendiem]

[ He would not know either one. Like he doesn't know what a shower is, or whatever. This place is a castle and he's not sure if they're in the chamberpot ages or how modern the facilities are. ]

...Can you hold my tuna? I'll give it a try.

Can I put a pillow at the bottom of the stairs before you try?

[ IT WONT HELP AT ALL? ]

Yeah.

[ lea is a Responsible Adult and he puts 2 whole pillows. at the bottom. and then stays down here to watch the carnage i guess, shouting out: ]

Pillows are ready! Still need me to hold your tuna?

[ minato's gonna fucking die ]

[ Minato nods, and- instead of trotting down the stairs to hand Axel the can and then trotting back up, sets the can on the banister and slides it down Axel's way. Will it make it the entire length? Probably not. ]

[leaberator]

the can splatters halfway down, spilling its content all over the stairs, sadly. ]

... Now you try to do better than the can.

[ he's not cleaning it up. it's staying there. ]

[ Know that Minato just lost his only meal of the day without so much as taking a bite of it first. He is not eating today.

But maybe he'll fare better than the can? He's pretty confident in his balance, even with a missing ear and the fact that his right side splinted and bandaged up and weight more than his right. It's fine, because instead of sitting on the railing, Minato just flops himself over it, arms danging over one side and legs on the other, stomach a little painful with the rail jutting into it and making it very hard to breathe, but it's fine. He pushes off and lets himself slide. Wheeeeeee-- ]

[leaberator]

[ minato PLEASE

speaking of minato please, the fact that he decided to go stomach down and head first is... uh... a choice, considering there is definitely a round knob thing at the bottom. to make it look Pretty.

wuh-oh ]

Sit up! Sit up!!

[compendiem]

[ Minato jolts upright and tips over the side of the banister and his fate is now in Axel's hands. ]
