Week Eight
9 in Competition

As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find three large, swirling masses grey in color looming near the sakura tree. These swirls cannot be approached just yet, but seem to be locked and waiting for something more. Later in the day, if those in the village approach the third mass they will find themselves in a version of their home world. This world is completely void of people, but seems to be just as they last remember it. No darkness will be found in this world as well.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. They don't speak immediately, but wait for all to settle.

TUESDAY EVENING; BINCHES GET SHIT DONE

[HELLO, EVERYONE... After everyone has had a chance to rest up after yesterday's announcement, North will take it upon herself to flag down everyone she can find to drag them over to the Amphitheater. Once there's at least a decent amount of survivors gathered there, she will begin to address the group.]

So... You all probably know what this is about. But if you've somehow been living underneath a rock for the last 24 hours, I'll be brief. [Hands on her hips, she sounds so extremely weary.] ... This is likely going to be our last week in this place. That means we need to be on the same page now more than ever. Roxas and Mikazuki aren't going to be able to hold our hands through this anymore; the darkness has decided to target them next. If we want to end this without fucking ourselves and everyone else over, we have to make some decisions as a group today. Hence, this meeting.

I know some of you have been talking privately about how to take care of Roxas and Mikazuki. I know some of you have been working to select the best candidate to represent us at the end of all of this, too. That's fine. But it's going to be a problem if someone decides to go off on their own without consulting everyone else. So if you have an idea, or any information you'd like to share with the class — now is the time. Let's make good use of this evening so we can come to a decision. The fate of the universe is literally in our hands. We've come to far to screw it all up now because we forgot how to communicate with each other.

As far as the last person goes... I think it’s most fair if we put it to a vote. I wrote the dead a while ago asking them to send us their votes, too, since I think that’s important. I haven’t heard back from them yet, but I’m hoping I will tomorrow. If anyone else got a response from them that includes their votes, though, let us know.

I heard from Shirasu, but— [IT'S SHIRASU.] Not sure if it was a vote, or just his commentary. We should be getting messages from the dead tomorrow, though. That should leave us with enough time to decide how we're doing this.

... I heard from him about it, too.

[She gives a small sigh.]

He told me he wanted either you or me... Did you get the same message, or did he tell you something different?

As far as a vote goes, I don't really have an opinion, but... I also don't think it's the best idea for me to be the last one left. At the same time, I can understand if anyone else would feel uncomfortable killing me. So... if it comes down to it, I don't have a problem taking care of me myself.

...Since we’re going to be hearing from the dead soon, hopefully - we should figure out who people on this side would support as far as a survivor goes. We probably all know who it’ll come down to at this point, but... It’s still worth bringing up.

[She crosses her arms.]

Since it’ll only be one of us, I think it’s better if everyone here gives one name for who they’d want to decide everything in the end.

Ookurikara. [a beat.] Sorry, Ookurikara, I know you don't want it, but since Milla is dead, you are my top vote, technically...

[ he shrugs ]

Well, my initial pick is dead, so-- put me down for Shess.

Just so everyone knows it’s an option... I got a task from Mikazuki in exchange for sedative, before most of us have to - you know. If there’s anyone who’d want to use it before we do what we have to, let me know. The task was just talking with each person who wants it about something specific, so it won’t be hard to get it if you’d prefer.

Thanks, Emma. [For bringing it up, even if North doesn't want it.] We're running out of time, so anyone who wants this alternative better work on it quickly. Otherwise, I'm willing to help out anyone who can't take care of it themselves.

[hello everyone, mikazuki has arrived! he's ditched the frumpy robe, showing off a rather intricate garb. can't get tired of those moon motifs, right. he arrives quietly, and the first thing you hear is probably his laugh]

[Following behind and sticking fairly close is Roxas. He isn't in his robe either, choosing to opt for something more familiar himself. He doesn't laugh, doesn't smile, and doesn't seem to really look anybody in the eye as he lingers back and lets Mikazuki finish speaking.]

...how can we help? [The tone is almost guarded, but that also probably means nothing.]

WEDNESDAY ADDENDUM AKA DEAD VOTES
