As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"We've been asked to open another gateway for you guys, but...it's funny. It sort of feels like things have calmed down. The corruption's temporarily evened out and the universe is stabilized for now, but that doesn't mean we should stop looking. Take a look and see what you can find on the other side. You might even get to learn something new."

When Sol finishes, they turn to face Lune, allowing for the other to speak for themselves.

"A bit of reprieve of welcome, isn't it? Please take this time to recover, even as you make steps forward to continue your good work. Thank you, thank you."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will be able to hear each other's thoughts whenever they look at one another! They may not hear every single thought that occurs, but the link will partners to hear thoughts as though their partner is speaking out loud. The more private the thought, the more likely the partner will pick up on it.



Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, this is break week! This means no murders and no trial! Your normal schedule will resume next week. We will still be hosting a laid-back mini-event on Tuesday, however.

I don't know. I was wondering if that itself was what you meant by the three fingers.

[ Evidently not, with the way Minato also looks confused. He goes back to gesturing again, but he'll take it slow this time.

He holds up three fingers. Taps the tip of his index finger with the other, and then taps that against his chest. ]

[ I'm crying, Jan, Kara's going to show up at any moment now and all Minato's managed to do is confuse Shess and determine which container is flour.

But until that happens, Minato's patience hasn't run out yet. Maybe it'll make more sense if he puts it all together, so Shess will have context:

He holds up one finger. Presses his hands together and turns them sideways so they're flat on one side.

Holds up the two fingers. Raises his arms and holds his hands flat up above his head, thumbs resting against his forehead.

Holds up three fingers. Taps one and then taps his chest. Taps another and points towards the door. Taps the third and also points out the door. ]

First is about the bread, second is about Sol? Do I have that right so far?

[ Yes! Yay, Minato's hope in Shess is renewed. ]

Is the second about the hood, or just about shielding yourself from the sun?

Minato repeats the gesture again, and points at Shess. He had guessed it right, once before. ]

Ice cream?

[ just collect all the ones Minato's smiled after... or pray that Kara comes home soon ]

[no because he wants minato to be able to finish his bread? and kara might kick him out? and then shess will also have to leave for the sake of giving kara space. ):]

Okay, so bread and ice cream. Was your first tap at your chest meant to represent you?

[ The container of flour is just sitting on the counter not being made into bread and at this rate, it's not even going to get started ):

But anyways, bread and ice cream are correct, and Minato also nods at Shess' question. Tapping his chest means him. ]

[stop talking to shess??? make your bread????]

Do the other taps mean other people as well?

[ He needs his hands to talk!!!

Minato nods, but, like. Taps a finger and points out the door. Just so it isn't so confusing. ]

[nonbelligerent]

Do you mean everyone?

[compendiem]

[ He shakes his head and holds up three fingers. Taps the first and points to himself, taps the next two and points to the door. ]

[the door tells him nothing!!]

Xion?

[ Why is Xion the door?????

shakes his head ]

Ookurikara?

[compendiem]

[ They leave the door open at night because they're both stupid, he doesn't even think of that—-

But Kara's name sure dues make him look over his shoulder at the door, just in case, and Minato moves around the other side of the counter in prime ducking position— just in case— before shaking his head again. ]

[nonbelligerent]

[he smiles a little.]

I think you're still safe. Sol? Akane? Milla?
