On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

it really is funny how quickly he's smiling again at that. tsuru reaches for another bottle, this time of a different kind of drink. ]

Let's check to see if this one does the same then?

[ he'll also take another glass. ]

Oh? Do you intend on mixing them?

[ the problem is that the second bottle is vodka. so this is a thing that's happening. ]

First, let's see if this also has bubbles!

but he'll open the bottle and then proceed to pour its contents into the glass.

[you could've just made it orange juice and had tsuru accidentally invent mimosas but no

[ he hums lightly, and then he promptly pours the contents of his champagne glass into the one with vodka.

[ it's said with a shrug, and he'll go to take a large sip

and then wordlessly hands it over to lune. he is trying to keep his expression even as he swallows. ]

lune is

not sipping just yet as they watch tsuru]

[ his voice is also very

even. which should probably be a warning sign.

he holds the glass out more to them. ]

[that is a

warning sign

but lune will take the glass and after a moment, steel themselves to drink what remains in the glass







and then move to place it beside the champagne tower silently]

[preowned]

[ he looks at the glass

then back at lune

before quietly picking it up and pouring it into the champagne glass, and then placing it onto the champagne tower itself, in the spot where he had taken lune's glass from. ]

[lune watches

and lets this happen for some reason]

Shall we observe the food? Or would you care to dance?

[they're just gonna

walk away from it]

they sure are ]

i chose to do this, so... you can choose the next thing.

[ so it's up to lune where they escape to ]

[did tsuru really choose to do a champagne tower or was it just his chaos meme ways

anyway lune will appear thoughtful at that before beginning to meander in the direction of where the music is a bit louder]

Then I have always been a fan of the arts.

[time to dance]

[ he follows along after, easily falling into step with them as they leave the scene of the crime. ]

Haaa, that's not too surprising...

[ given what lune's personality is like, that tracks, so. ]

[cyclists]

[there is a soft laugh]

It can beat faster. I'm hoping you can make that happen.

[ show him a good time, lune

but he'll stop walking once they find an empty spot at the dance area, but he doesn't do anything yet. he's waiting to see what lune will do. ]

[cyclists]

[can tsuru maybe stop

because now lune has been given a task, and they'll appear thoughtful for a moment before reaching their hand out again. tonight their hand is covered in a black glove, as if that's how they thought best to dress up for the occasion, and it moves to cup where tsuru's jaw meets his neck. they step closer as their hand traces along the line of his jaw, until their fingers are again curled underneath his chin

they move his face slightly up, as if that's where he ought to be looking into their mask for them to make eye contact

lune's other arm moves to rest at the small of tsuru's back]

I believe I had observed this done a number of times to elicit a heart-racing reaction.

[their voice is just as light and amused as ever]

And so?

[preowned]

[ well, he was waiting to see what lune would do

his expression goes on what can be considered a journey-- surprise to embarrassment to contemplation and, finally, he just lets out a breathy laugh. tsuru lifts his hand to grab onto the one that's at his chin, and he slowly removes it. ]

Hm? Why do they do that?

[ swords are fucking stupid

he'll fold his hand around the one that's gripping lune's. ]

[cyclists]

[that's fine, lune will take that hand and pull tsuru along with them into steps that match the music - ]

Ahaha, the ways of humans are fickle, and interesting. But endearing always.

[lune doesn't really know why they do it either, but the way that tsuru's expression changed was kinda fun]

May I trust you to mirror me?

[preowned]

Of course.

[ he says that, but there's a twinkle in his eye that should say that, maybe, he might not mirror them exactly.

just maybe. ]

I'll follow your lead.

[is lune pretending not to see it or can they sincerely not tell, who can say

regardless there might be a change in the music, a melt at that exact moment into something more lively that might match the mood of the festival better

the hand at tsuru's waist will guide him to step along with lune]
