On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

but then he just stares at it because what the heck is he supposed to paint on this thing ]

[ tsurumaru makes no attempts at helping

he's going back to working on his eggkurikara ]

[ when in doubt, go with the first idea that comes to mind. kara only uses the black paint, and it's... kind of plain, but after a few minutes he'll turn the egg around to show tsuru.

it's... a cat? probably? maybe it's meant to be one of gokotai's tigers...? ]

[ he stares at it ]

Cat?

Tiger.

[ that's why he only used black paint i guess ]

[ he looks at it more closely ]

See, Kara-bou can do it.

[ why does this sound like an elementary school teacher cheering on their kindergartner ]

[ satisfied, he nods and leans over to see how tsuru's egg is looking. ]

...Yours still doesn't look like anything.

[ HE ADDS A FACE

[ guess who is making exactly that face at tsuru right now ]

Ah! The resemblance!

[ he holds the egg out, so it's side by side with kara's face ]

It doesn't resemble anything.

Eh? You still don't think so?!

[ he's one to talk but ok ]

[ the statement is that he can't draw ]

[ there's a point where he just stops trying to understand tsuru and he's long since hit it. ]

Are you done?

Ah, no! Hold on.

[ he grabs three more eggs and starts to quickly paint them too

...

it means kara has to wait a little longer, but once tsuru is done, there's eggs of him, mitsu, and sada as well. at this point kara could probably only tell who they're supposed to be because there's four of them and also the color schemes. ]

...It's us.

[ it still looks like a whole lot of nothing, but the colors - yeah, now he can see it. ]

Tadaaaa!

[ he's very proud of these eggs. he'll hand kara the mitsutada one. ]

[unfriendliest]

[ guess he's holding a mitsutada egg now. he stares at it, then looks back at tsuru. what is he supposed to do with this. ]

Ahaha! You two look great together!

[ he's really pleased by this. ]
