As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"We've been asked to open another gateway for you guys, but...it's funny. It sort of feels like things have calmed down. The corruption's temporarily evened out and the universe is stabilized for now, but that doesn't mean we should stop looking. Take a look and see what you can find on the other side. You might even get to learn something new."

When Sol finishes, they turn to face Lune, allowing for the other to speak for themselves.

"A bit of reprieve of welcome, isn't it? Please take this time to recover, even as you make steps forward to continue your good work. Thank you, thank you."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will be able to hear each other's thoughts whenever they look at one another! They may not hear every single thought that occurs, but the link will partners to hear thoughts as though their partner is speaking out loud. The more private the thought, the more likely the partner will pick up on it.



Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, this is break week! This means no murders and no trial! Your normal schedule will resume next week. We will still be hosting a laid-back mini-event on Tuesday, however.

[ He sure is there!

He also sure is asleep, lying on the floor so that technically there's still room for four people? two of them just won't have leg room and will have to put their feet up on the bench. ]

[ she is going to try to not get in his way then

but she will give his head a pat as she sits down ]

[ He stirs somewhat when Naminé pats his head, ducking his head a little without opening his eyes and— good thing, because the boat jumps a little on the wave and comes crashing back down, water spilling into the boat and drenching Naminé's feet and the left side of Minato's body.

Cold. ]

well then. she lifts her feet up so they're no longer in water. ]

Minato?

[ Minato opens his mouth to say something but all he gets is a mouthful of slimy lake water. That's enough to get him to bolt upright, coughing and spitting the water out. Gross.

He stares at Naminé for a moment, and then lies back down again, face up. Can't breathe water if he's facing up. ]

[whitewalls]

Minato... please get on the bench.

[ before you drown and she has to explain this to akane ]

[ He'd just taken precautions not to drown? But he doesn't want Akane to be upset, especially not at Naminé, so he sits up again and this time he folds his arms and rests them on top of the bench next to Naminé, head resting sideways on his arms.

He lifts a hand and taps a finger on top of the opposite wrist. ]

[whitewalls]

what does that mean

she also taps her wrist??? in confusion?? ]

[ Minato nods and buries his face in his arms.

Zzzzzzzzzz ]

the fuck does this mean

she's going to spend this whole boat ride trying to decipher this ]

[ She can do it, Minato has faith in her. As such, he does absolutely nothing to help as he snoozes the entire boatride over to the other side of the lake, making no move to wake up even as the boat bumps against the dock. ]

[whitewalls]

[ ... huh.....


she waits a couple of minutes before reaching over and taps minato's wrist????

what does it mean ]

[ It's a mystery.

Minato lifts his head this time, blinking blearily up at Naminé as he sits up a little straighter, and holds his hand out to her.

It's still a mystery, probably. ]

[whitewalls]

[ ????

there is literally only one thing naminé knows to do with minato's hand, so she's just going to reach over and hold his now. ]

[compendiem]

[ Yeah, that's the right answer. Minato holds her hand but he doesn't get up from where he's seating. He just sort of... leans towards the dock? While sitting and holding Naminé's hand. ]

[whitewalls]

[ hm

she gets up and gently tugs at his hand?? ]

[compendiem]

[ He makes a face at that, and shakes his head, nudging her hand away but also still holding onto it. ]

[whitewalls]

[ hm...

oh.

she'll reach over with her free hand to try to push the boat from the dock??? ]

[compendiem]

[ Oh. That wasn't exactly what Minato meant, but it's too late now; the boat starts floating back to the other side of the lake. ]

[whitewalls]

[ they're just going to travel across this whole ass lake multiple times now. it's fine.

she looks down at minato. ]

[compendiem]

[ Yeah... that's what they're going to do, until Naminé deciphers what wrist tapping means.

It'll be a nice ride, though, quiet. Minato still hasn't let go of Naminé's hand, but he does pat the flooded floor of the boat to invite her to sit in the water with him. ]

[whitewalls]

[ she is never going to figure out wrist tapping she's too stupid for this

but she blinks and. will slowly lower herself onto the floor of the boat.

hm. ]

[ I'm crying, Francy

Now Naminé is sitting in gross lake water, holding hands with Minato who continues to sit and do nothing, nodding off a little until they bump against the dock gate-side, and again until they bump against the dock castle-side.

This time, he gets up, tugging Naminé along with him. ]

[ okay, that's fine, she will get up after him

they're both wet and gross from lake water now and that's just life ]
