As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"We've been asked to open another gateway for you guys, but...it's funny. It sort of feels like things have calmed down. The corruption's temporarily evened out and the universe is stabilized for now, but that doesn't mean we should stop looking. Take a look and see what you can find on the other side. You might even get to learn something new."

When Sol finishes, they turn to face Lune, allowing for the other to speak for themselves.

"A bit of reprieve of welcome, isn't it? Please take this time to recover, even as you make steps forward to continue your good work. Thank you, thank you."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will be able to hear each other's thoughts whenever they look at one another! They may not hear every single thought that occurs, but the link will partners to hear thoughts as though their partner is speaking out loud. The more private the thought, the more likely the partner will pick up on it.



Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, this is break week! This means no murders and no trial! Your normal schedule will resume next week. We will still be hosting a laid-back mini-event on Tuesday, however.

[ He shakes his head, and holds up his hand again. Victory sign, or maybe he means peace, or maybe he means...? ]

[nonbelligerent]

Sol or Lune suggested this as a peaceful activity?

[ Shakes his head... Shess... you have to be smart. You're the only hope left in this place. ]

[nonbelligerent]

You and Milla are celebrating something?

[compendiem]

[ with great power comes great responsibility... that's why Minato doesn't really care for power, or to be smart or reliable or any of that.

He makes that "sort of" gesture with his hand again, and then... hmm... crosses his index fingers and holds it in front of his face. ]

[nonbelligerent]

You lost a race so you can't talk and you have to make food?

[?????????????]

[ That gets a smile out of Minato, but also a shake of his head.

He holds up three fingers, shaking his head as he puts the first one down. He shakes his head again as the second finger goes down, and then he nods when the last one goes down and he drops his fist to his side. ]

[nonbelligerent]

[hmmmm]

Does it involve three of you doing something together, at least?

[compendiem]

[ He looks up at the ceiling for a moment, deliberating, and then wobbles his hand. Sort of? ]

[nonbelligerent]

The third guess was right?

[compendiem]

[ Uh.

He points at Shess, points at him. ]

[nonbelligerent]

[no comprendo]

[ grabby hands at Shess' tablet ]

[nonbelligerent]

[handing it over!]

[ Minato writes down "What are the three guesses again?" and hands it back to Shess. ]

[nonbelligerent]

I don't know. I was wondering if that itself was what you meant by the three fingers.

[compendiem]

[ Evidently not, with the way Minato also looks confused. He goes back to gesturing again, but he'll take it slow this time.

He holds up three fingers. Taps the tip of his index finger with the other, and then taps that against his chest. ]

[nonbelligerent]

[HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND]

[ I'm crying, Jan, Kara's going to show up at any moment now and all Minato's managed to do is confuse Shess and determine which container is flour.

But until that happens, Minato's patience hasn't run out yet. Maybe it'll make more sense if he puts it all together, so Shess will have context:

He holds up one finger. Presses his hands together and turns them sideways so they're flat on one side.

Holds up the two fingers. Raises his arms and holds his hands flat up above his head, thumbs resting against his forehead.

Holds up three fingers. Taps one and then taps his chest. Taps another and points towards the door. Taps the third and also points out the door. ]

[uhhhh]

First is about the bread, second is about Sol? Do I have that right so far?

[ uh

sort of? he makes that sort of gesture ]

Is the first about bread, at least?

[ Yes! Yay, Minato's hope in Shess is renewed. ]
