Week Seven

As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"Morning. As usual, you guys were a big help in purging the darkness that lingered in the gateway from last week. We'll take it from here." There's a pause. "...we've got a new one for you, but there's something really weird about it. It's even larger than the last, so be careful when you're out there."

When Sol finishes, Lune picks up where they left off.

"Would it be odd to say that I believe you are all doing well? Your growth has been admirable.... Have heart as you continue to move forward."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, everyone will find that somewhere on their person, a small word is printed displaying their most prominent trait. Though they may not agree, or even realize it, this is a trait that most strongly defines them and over the week this trait will slowly become amplified.

Yeah... Miki was saying it's hard to get where I'm coming from, sometimes. But I just say what I feel like saying. Speaking from the heart, or whatever.

No, that's good.

That's because thinking up a lie is too much effort.

[ He's honest because he's lazy. ]

[ she just nods ]

Mm... it's better this way, right? If I'm honest, people don't have to doubt what I'm saying... and it should be easier to communicate. It doesn't work as well as I thought it would.

[ Everything he says is very practical and reasonable and still people side-eye him for every other thing he does, he can't understand it. ]

[ I don't know Digimon, how fragile are Digimon eggs, will it crack if Minato doesn't look where he's going and trips over one hidden in the tall grass and immediately fall flat on his face? ]

[ they will probably survive

[ He doesn't kick the egg, he's just too busy staring adoringly into Naminé's eyes and trips and eats dirt ]

Second time this week I tripped and fell because of a rock... I'm okay, though. We should get rid of that before somebody else falls, though.

[whitewalls]

she goes to grab it ]

It's an egg.

[ Don't be fooled, Naminé, it's a rock and Minato's going to destroy it in petty revenge. ]

Cool. Well, we can find a nest up in a tree and put it back. Gotta find the babies.

[whitewalls]

This might be a baby.

It's a big egg.

[compendiem]

...Maybe it's an egg, but it's very clearly not a baby.

[ It's not soft, pink, and screaming, and therefore it's not a baby. ]

[whitewalls]

[ she is holding the egg. ]

Let's bring it with us while we keep looking.

[ What a pain... But as long as it's Naminé being inconvenienced and not him, she can do with it as she wants. ]

Can you hold the egg with one hand? I still want your other...
