On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

but at kara's approval (that is as close to approval as tsuru is going to get), his expression lights up

he's getting eggs now ]

[ well at least tsuru is easily satisfied

kara isn't going to help though, so he'll just. lean against the counter and watch. can tsuru even art? time to find out. ]

[ tsuru sits down on the floor, because he is drunk and this is stupid, and he will proceed to




start to paint kara on an egg ]

[ and because he is curious, kara will casually lean over to see what the heck he's painting

not that he can tell at first ]

...What is it?

Hm? You can't tell?

[ he holds it out

it's... very vaguely kara shaped, the only real hint being the beginning of the color scheme ]

[ squints a little harder as if that'll make an actual shape appear ]

Ah! Hold on, hold on.

[ he adds in a sword

it just looks like a stick ]

[ he picks up another egg and holds it out to him

PAINT THE EGG ]

You're the one who wanted to paint.

[ he makes no move to take the egg or a paintbrush ]

If I'm so terrible then you should show me how it's done.

but then he just stares at it because what the heck is he supposed to paint on this thing ]

[ tsurumaru makes no attempts at helping

he's going back to working on his eggkurikara ]

[ when in doubt, go with the first idea that comes to mind. kara only uses the black paint, and it's... kind of plain, but after a few minutes he'll turn the egg around to show tsuru.

it's... a cat? probably? maybe it's meant to be one of gokotai's tigers...? ]

[ he stares at it ]

[ that's why he only used black paint i guess ]

[ he looks at it more closely ]

See, Kara-bou can do it.

[ why does this sound like an elementary school teacher cheering on their kindergartner ]

[ satisfied, he nods and leans over to see how tsuru's egg is looking. ]

...Yours still doesn't look like anything.
