As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.

Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.

As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.

"We've been asked to open another gateway for you guys, but...it's funny. It sort of feels like things have calmed down. The corruption's temporarily evened out and the universe is stabilized for now, but that doesn't mean we should stop looking. Take a look and see what you can find on the other side. You might even get to learn something new."

When Sol finishes, they turn to face Lune, allowing for the other to speak for themselves.

"A bit of reprieve of welcome, isn't it? Please take this time to recover, even as you make steps forward to continue your good work. Thank you, thank you."

The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.

In addition, as the week goes on, partners will be able to hear each other's thoughts whenever they look at one another! They may not hear every single thought that occurs, but the link will partners to hear thoughts as though their partner is speaking out loud. The more private the thought, the more likely the partner will pick up on it.



Welcome to your week three mingle! As a reminder, this is break week! This means no murders and no trial! Your normal schedule will resume next week. We will still be hosting a laid-back mini-event on Tuesday, however.

In addition, ensure that all of your week three private conversations were reported on the page, and your week four private conversations are reported on that page. If you'll be taking anything from locations, please report that as well.

[ Minato nods and looks delighted. Again, Shess is proving to be the best.

Nobody else understands his charades??? He can't imagine why. ]

That sounds exciting. There are probably a lot of things you can do with bread.

[compendiem]

[ He gestures to Shess' tablet again, because it's easier for him and he's lazy, despite thinking charades are fun. ]

[nonbelligerent]

[handing it over!]

[ He writes down "curry bread" and then "for Milla" because curry is hard to describe through hand gestures alone, and so are names, seeing as Kara couldn't understand Minato's miming Shess' horns. ]

[nonbelligerent]

[.......... why was minato miming shess's horns]

Oh, does she like curry? That's kind of you.

[compendiem]

[ because Kara didn't want to eat frogs

Anyways, smile and a nod, and Minato holds a fist up, and pokes his finger inside his fist with his other hand. This also means something, maybe. ]

[nonbelligerent]

[uhhhhh]

You're putting holes in the bread?

[compendiem]

[ uh

Minato freezes in the middle of miming whatever, and looks sort of thoughtful. That wasn't it, but... does he need to put holes in the bread? He's never made bread. Where is Akane.

Okay, how about this? he holds both index fingers up, side by side so that they're pressing against each other, and then moves them apart. ]

[nonbelligerent]

Is it a birthday bread?

[compendiem]

[ ...what is a birthday bread and why has nobody ever baked him one ]

[nonbelligerent]

[do you want a birthday bread, shess can try and make one. no promises that it'll be very good, though.

but okay, so that previous gesture wasn't a candle. hmm...]

[compendiem]

[ Yes he wants a birthday bread? He's never gotten anything for his birthday for the past ten years, he would love birthday bread no matter how bad.

Okay..........

He makes a fist and holds it under his chin. And then sticks his tongue out at Shess. ]

[nonbelligerent]

You're making bread to taunt Akane for beating her at the competition?

[he thinks minato won, anyway.]

[compendiem]

[ I can't believe the initial thought is that Minato's just that rude. This makes him laugh, but he shakes his head.

Makes a victory sign with one hand. ]

[nonbelligerent]

A congratulations bread?

[compendiem]

[ Shakes his head.

Hmm, this is harder than he thinks. He lifts both hands and places them palm down on top of his head, like he's shielding his eyes from the sun. ]

[nonbelligerent]

[oh! he thinks he might have it...!]

Ice cream?

[compendiem]

[ Yes! Good, Minato's miming of Sol went through. ]

[nonbelligerent]

[... okay, now shess doesn't know this fits in.]

You're making curry bread to go with the ice cream...?

[compendiem]

[ He shakes his head, and holds up his hand again. Victory sign, or maybe he means peace, or maybe he means...? ]

[nonbelligerent]

[...]

Sol or Lune suggested this as a peaceful activity?

[compendiem]

[ Shakes his head... Shess... you have to be smart. You're the only hope left in this place. ]

[nonbelligerent]

[that's a heavy burden]

You and Milla are celebrating something?

[compendiem]

[ with great power comes great responsibility... that's why Minato doesn't really care for power, or to be smart or reliable or any of that.

He makes that "sort of" gesture with his hand again, and then... hmm... crosses his index fingers and holds it in front of his face. ]
