week seven: mingle
Week Seven
13 in Competition
13 in Competition
As the sun rises on Monday morning, all participants will find themselves awakening with a sense of purpose. Regardless of where they slept the night before, they’ll find themselves compelled to return to the main meeting hall first thing in the morning.
Approaching the hall, however, they will find a large, swirling mass grey in color looming near the sakura tree. This swirl cannot be approached just yet, but seems to be locked and waiting for something more.
As the last member of the village enters the hall, they will find Lune and Sol at the head of the room. Though they’re together, it’s Sol who speaks up first this time.
"Morning. As usual, you guys were a big help in purging the darkness that lingered in the gateway from last week. We'll take it from here." There's a pause. "...we've got a new one for you, but there's something really weird about it. It's even larger than the last, so be careful when you're out there."
When Sol finishes, Lune picks up where they left off.
"Would it be odd to say that I believe you are all doing well? Your growth has been admirable.... Have heart as you continue to move forward."
The moment participants leave the hall, they will find that the gateway has changed from grey to white, the opening widening enough for multiple people to step through. The Signs will soon take their leave, and all will remain peaceful once more.
In addition, as the week goes on, everyone will find that somewhere on their person, a small word is printed displaying their most prominent trait. Though they may not agree, or even realize it, this is a trait that most strongly defines them and over the week this trait will slowly become amplified.

Welcome to your week seven mingle! As a reminder, murder proposals are open. We will also have a mini-event this week on Tuesday at 12pm PST. Of note, this mini-event will be different, so please stay tuned for more info!
In addition, ensure that all of your week six private conversations were reported on the page. If you'll be taking anything from locations, please report that as well.

a wild shibe appears
yeah.
she is kinda clenching and unclenching her hands like she's kinda expecting to just vanish into thin air again. ]
... Huh.
[ what the heck. ]
He just told me... Was he just being lazy...??

more importantly, miki's puffs are rolling towards her.]

Miki immediately drops down and watches them roll around her feet. Hello little friends. ]
They're looking well. You've been taking good care of them.

... It's good to see you again.

[ hmmm. ]
It’s good to see you too. I’m glad you survived last week. [ And broke the Axel curse. ]

Guess it’s a good thing we agreed on three then, isn’t it?
[ Mmmm. If she tries to hug him it’s not going to work, which is.... crap, actually. Still, she can do something like it, can’t she? She leans forward, almost like she’s going to rest her forehead against his shoulder, but stops just short of actually touching him and awkwardly glitching. ]
Hi.

I guess it can be a good thing. [But he's still pleased.] It brought you back to me, didn't it? Imagine if I only had two. [He would have thrown one into the void anyway, and they both know it. Let him make a joke out of it though.]

I’m sure you’d have thought of something anyway. [ She shifts a little, so she can look at him. ] I’m kinda known for liking books, after all.
[ The fact he would’ve anyway, unspoken as it is, means a lot. ]

[ Hello. ]
Good to see you too. Managing okay?
no subject
[She pauses.]
I'd ask how things have been for you, but I get the feeling you'd just get weird like everyone else who gives any details.
no subject
Mm, yeah. I'd rather avoid glitching out, it looks a bit uncomfortable. Looks like we've really got to stick to those messages if we want to share important things.
