On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

[This dumb bitch was probably just standing off to the sidelines and observing everyone, but when Naminé approaches they visibly perk up.]

Naminé! [They're even taking a step closer to approach.] It's good to see you again. Are you having fun so far?

[This isn't exactly their scene, but they hope everyone else appreciates it.]

It's interesting. Everyone looks so fancy.

[ she is fascinated by the most mundane things. ]

Did you prepare all of this?

[cyclists]

They really do...[Says Sol, who is stuck in their white cloak but eyeballing everyone from under their hood. It's fine. But there's a nod.] I've never been to something like this before, but Lune and I thought it'd be a good idea for everyone. It feels normal.

[leaberator]

[ owo what's this

axel waves at sol when he notices him, approaching right after ]

Hey. You guys're participating too, huh?

[ he says to sol who was probably not doing anything ]

[cyclists]

[Sol is absolutely minding their own business even if they're sneaking a cherry under their hood to eat. There's a pause, hand hovering in mid-air as they seem to stare at Axel.]

Guess so. [Calmly. There's another pause.] You...braided your hair. [That's not what they were expecting alright.]

[leaberator]

[ oh, right. he touches it because he fucking. forgot. ]

Sorta? Well, Kaoru did. It's weird, right? Not too sure people will recognize me with it.

[ ... idiot ... ]

[cyclists]

It's different. [Not necessarily weird, but absolutely different.] But I'm pretty sure you're hard to forget when people meet you.

[ Minato approaches... sometime early on so he's still just wearing his uniform with the cat ears.

He has a paintbrush in his hand. ]

[cyclists]

[That sure is a paintbrush. And cat ears.]

Hi. It's Minato, right?

Yes, that's right. And your name is Lune? ...Can I draw on your face?

[ He holds the paintbrush up a little higher. Does Lune have a face? Mostly he wants to see their face. ]

[cyclists]

[I'm laughing. Sol, however, is going to pause.]

That's Lune. [A point over to Lune.] But I don't know if you can draw on his face.

[papawolf]

[ S'up, he's checking out Sol while munching on some pear. Giving a tilt of his head and then lifting a hand on up.

Hi? ]

[cyclists]

[Hello??? Sol pauses, tilting their head and also lifting their hand. Is this a mirror thing, sure.]

Hi. [Good start. But they notice the fruit in Feral's other hand.] There's plenty, so take as much as you want.

[Sol is trying Very Hard to be a good host right now.]

[papawolf]

[ Sol hard. Also don't tell him that cause he will try to stuff as many as he can in his pockets?

Though he'll nod towards the fruit after a moment. Want any? ]

[Despite Nana who DEFINITELY INTRODUCED HERSELF TO SOL, I FUCKED UP--

[I'm crying. But it's fine, because Sol definitely remembers her and therefore the response is actually pretty friendly.]

Thanks. You think so? [They sound pleased at least.] We didn't have a lot to work with but we thought it might be nice anyway.

I'm sure everyone's grateful!

[Okay no, she can't guarantee it, but it sounds like such a nice thing to say anyway]

Anyways, Sol-san~ Would you like a dance with me?

[ here he issssssss the biggest douche in the universeeeee ]

Were you hoping to get our minds off of all of this by putting this party together?

[cyclists]

[Hm.]

Well it lured you out of hiding, didn't it? [Just. Casually. I'm assuming he's been around and lurking like a creep Sipp gomen.]

[moonprisonpower]

[ it's a 110% correct assumption. ]

[ he says this in the most deadpan voice. ]

[Toki approaches with a determined stride.]

Hello~! Your banquet is amazing~! I have one question, though, and it's something that's been weighing on the minds of a few of our number! Are you and Lune invisible fish people!?

[cyclists]

[This is fine. Sol's about to say something, like, "thank you" or "glad you're enjoying yourself" but then that happens and they fumble for a moment.]

Invisi--what? [They would love to know where that came from.] We're standing here, aren't we?

[yokeye]

Your cloaks are, but you're not! I can't see your face, and the fact that you're being evasive and it's not an automatic 'no' lends credence to this theory!

[While in the castle, he and Kaoru basically decided they were invisible fish people who could possibly teleport. It made sense.]
