On Monday morning, the sun rises on the sleepy village, and when the first ray of light touches the gates at each corner of the village, the previously tightly sealed doors open.

The barriers around the village fall, and leave it entirely open. Each cardinal direction will have a path exiting the village, taking the curious explorers who follow it on an adventure to new territories to be explored. They’ll find that each location that they arrive in appears to be associated with one of the elements. As the Signs had explained the day before, each of the participants in the game possesses an elemental assignment, whether they are aware of it or not.

When they approach the elemental areas, they’ll find themselves more in tune with their new powerset, as if the location invites them to take them out for a spin. The new areas appear to be perfect for training and learning how to use the new skills, or maybe if you’re curious you can discover which of those listed powers you’ve been granted.

Just try not to hurt yourself while you’re out there.

In addition, it seems now that more pieces of the core are being revealed, the river that runs through the village will begin to be dotted with small lanterns floating on the water. Some of them seem to be holding small notes. Try as you might to grab one, they’ll always just barely float out of reach.

Perhaps try sending one yourself and see what results you might get?

Occasionally in the village, you might hear the sound of drums and flutes - is that festival music? - though no matter how you search, you can’t find the source… yet.

he's already thinking of which ones would give the most flavorful juices for this... that sounds like the way to do this. ]

I didn't see persimmons, but there are plenty of berries in the kitchen. We can use those to start.

[ he has no issues with taking alcohol for this very important project they have now started. ]

Hm... I wonder what different kinds of it they have... there were other weird drinks, too. Some are bubbly!

[ tsuru is a big fan of the bubbly alcohol

which obviously means he wants kara to become a fan of it as well? ]

But there were other things... we could just grab a lot and see taste test them.

[ that is a bad idea and ookurikara knows it but he also knows tsuru won't be fucking stopped when he decides on something so

guess we're doing that, too. ]

Okay. Where were they?

the champagne tower is there, and it probably shouldn't take kara too long to figure out who is responsible for it considering it's not all of the champagne landed in the glasses.

he'll take a moment to appreciate his work of art, before grabbing a few random bottles and handing them to kara to help hold. ]

they're going to the library with all of this then. ]

We should make extras just in case we make mistakes. That way, at some point we'll get it right.

on the other it just sounds like he wants to have fun instead of doing something logically ]

[ well... can't argue with that logic. they don't know what jello is so there'll be lots of mistakes. he shrugs, bottles clinking in his arms. ]

Then we just need the recipe.

Hopefully it won't take too long to get a cookbook.

[ they can probably find a jello recipe but honestly it probably won't be any on jello shots themselves so

they're going to have to wing that part. which is bad. ]

We just have to look for ones with sweets.

[ once they get to the library he's just going to dump all this alcohol on a table without bothering to set them upright. now to find the cooking section. ]

[ and he'll go to search for it too, although he's eating one of the jello shots as he does so.




he also gets distracted by other books a few times so honestly kara will probably find them before tsuru does ]

[ kara was expecting that to happen tbh. after maybe ten minutes or so, he's found something that looks similar, and brings it back to show tsurumaru, wordlessly holding the book open instead of asking like a normal person. what even is a jello. ]

I don't see any mention of alcohol... so do we just dump it in?
